I was really disappointed with my meal here. The food quality was poor and the lettuce on my plate was not washed properly — it still had mud on it. This is very concerning for hygiene and food safety. Unfortunately, it made the whole dining experience unpleasant. I hope the café takes this feedback seriously and improves their food preparation standards.
I have been here so many times for brunch and coffee- first time I’m here for lunch and my hubby ordered the 300g scotch filet - that was actually half of that to be honest! Very disappointed as the price was for a 300g piece of meat! 🤑
In and out in literally 2 minutes. Entered with a menu on the side table, left hand side with a note next to it "15 % extra on public holidays " had a look at the menu and looked around to know how things work, saw a small queue at what looks like a service bar. Took the menu there and asked the woman behind the counter the counter who was very abrupt, rude saying "this is not how it works, you sit down and we take the orders, etc" and literally we left the menu and walked out. You can have the best location and food but at the end of the people can make or break a place. You need someone to meet people at the door taking them to the tables and explaining what to expect. Besides of course not being rude which is ABC Hospitality. From the quick look at the menu , prices seemed ok in addition to the 15% ، you would think that place must be great. What a disappointment and never again . Went to another restaurant "Riviera" you can tell the difference the moment you step in the place when you are met with a smile and great service, great food.
This is a very nice place by the river on the west side. The drinks were amazing, my Negroni was perfect. We also tried the chocolate martini and the mojito and both were very very good The pizza is coal oven baked and tased Devine. The pumpkin salad was delicious and unique, the used acorn squash with quinoa and hummus, it was also very filling The view is also very nice and there is a playground outside for kids The only downside is that they didn't have a changing table for babies which seems like a pattern in Australian restaurants (I don't know where those people get their babies changed)
First visit to the Boathouse, what a great place to catch up with the family. We sat outside on the deck which provided plenty of shade. Coffee was good but what I really enjoyed was the Chilli Scrambled Eggs, all meals reasonably priced. Great and friendly service. Went for a long walk along the Maribyrnong river afterwards. Definitely worth the visit.
Beautiful views out along the river coffee was ice cold and beautiful and the pizza I shared with a friend was absolutely amazing! Would definitely go there again
Such a lovely place. Deceiving from the back where you park your car but when you go through, you end up at the lake. Such a beautiful venue. 1st time but won't be the last. Had an amazing pizza dish with prosciutto and blue cheese. Yuuuuuum. Tiramisu is great & light. Could have a bit more alcohol in it though lol. Looking forward to going back.
