As soon as we saw the venue, we knew it was the one. Sarah and Drew were welcoming and accommodating from the very beginning. Organising our wedding with them was an absolute pleasure, Sarah provided amazing vendor suggestions and made the entire process feel seamless. They went above and beyond in setting up and bringing to life all of my creative visions, making the day feel so personal and special. Sarah’s calm reassurance throughout planning took away any stress and allowed us to truly enjoy the experience. We couldn’t have asked for better people to support us on such a special day. On the day itself, she and her partner Drew were exceptional. They were on top of everything, noticing every detail and making sure everything ran seamlessly. If we had an empty drink, it was refilled. If food needed topping up, it was done straight away. They anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. The property is absolutely beautiful — immaculate grounds, stunning setting, and the most perfect atmosphere. Truly the most incredible hosts. The Perfect Venue!! We cannot thank Sarah and the team at Murray Gums Estate enough for making our wedding day truly unforgettable. As a family business, Sarah goes above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly. When it started raining on the morning of our wedding, we didn’t have to worry – Sarah had already organized a fantastic Plan B for us, well before we even thought we’d need one. On the day, she and Drew took care of every detail, right down to things we hadn’t even considered, and everything was executed flawlessly. From the organizing process to the big day itself, Sarah was with us every step of the way, and she made our day the best day of our lives. The venue itself is stunning – the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. We’re beyond grateful to Sarah and the team for making everything perfect!

When your wedding day planned in Byron Bay gets cancelled from cyclone Alfred and you plan a wedding in less then two weeks; guess who came to our rescue? Sarah and the team at Murray Gums Estate did. Through all the stress, tears and last minute planning Sarah made the process seamless and easy and like it wasn’t a fuss. She helped with suggestions, spoke with vendors and even did a spreadsheet to keep everyone onboard with times / the plan. She made the day run smoothly. We used the tasting room as our guest numbers were only 35, this was perfect for us. There was a kitchen for the caterers and really I didn’t need many decorations as the venue itself was beautiful hidden amoungst the vines. The location was amazing, ceremony at the river, chilled relaxed vibe and it was just perfect for us. We danced on the deck, the kids played on the grass, guest were shaded under umbrellas. I couldn’t ask for anything more everyone was happy and loved it! I’d highly recommend getting married here whether it’s a big or small intimate wedding. Sarah made the day for us!

We had our wedding at Murray Gums Estate earlier this year. This venue speaks for itself = PURE MAGIC. From the moment we booked, Sarah and Drew were nothing short of amazing. They were friendly, super organised, knew the venue inside and out, and were just all-round legends—nothing was ever too much trouble. By the end of it all, they honestly felt like friends—not just our wedding vendors. Sarah made the whole planning process feel easy and stress-free. She knows her stuff and made sure every little detail was taken care of. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better team or a more perfect place to get married. We’ve taken over a year to write this review because we honestly cannot put into words what this special place and family mean to us. We are so lucky to have been able to get married at this beautiful venue. Sarah and Drew went above and beyond to make our day one to remember. The property is always immaculate and the care Sarah and Drew show to their business is so evident.
