Oakover Grounds

Thank you Donna and the Oakover Grounds Team for a fabulous buffet Christmas Lunch! We are always appreciative of people giving up their own Christmas lunch to help us celebrate Christmas. The venue looked great and was decorated lovely for Christmas lunch. Our party of 4 adults, 1 teen and 2 child had a great time and food was delicious- no dinner needed for us tonight 😆 The buffet had all the Christmas staples and trimmings you could ask for - prawns, salmon, sirloin beef, glazed ham, roast chicken and plenty of vegetarian options. That cheese/antipasto grazing table was spectacular! We waited a bit after eating mains and then we hit the dessert table. Wow- that Christmas pudding with custard was magic! The lemon tart was also good and the kids loved the ice-cream options. The beverage package was excellent- the Oakover Sweet Rosé and Oakover Cabernet Merlot are fantastic! The kids loved the pedal boats on the lake! We hope the staff got to enjoy a wonderful Christmas afternoon! Merry Christmas!

We ordered the American rib set for sharing. Not huge size but good enough for Asian. For locals might not be enough. The place is quite relax and chilling. Have plenty of activities for kids and parents. Ie water trikes, pond w ducks, kids playing corner. They have indoor and outdoor dining place. Also have an event hall/shops on the other side of the restaurant. Nice place and recommended!

Nice place to refresh with a lake view outdoor and water trucks that you can pedal around the lake if you want to have fun 🤩 This place has plenty of spaces that can be great for any events. The food such as the meat that we had is a 5 star ⭐️ Varieties of wine to choose from. The prices are just enough for the place, view and activities that you can enjoy with your family and friends. Not far from the city but you can feel like far away 😄

Love this place so much ! Only 20 mins from home. Not our first time here but always feel happy as the atmosphere just so lifting up. Even we as adult still able to enjoy the water cycle thingy with so much fun ha ha. When finishing our lunch we ordered coffee and sat at the outdoor area, had a good chat which was so relaxing. We wont hesitate to come back for more!

Really enjoyed our Christmas lunch at Oakover. It’s our first time not eating at home and now we think we will make it a thing so much less stressful. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and sooo much food. We tried to make sure we spaced out the food over the 3 hours so we could try everything. Bread and oils to chacturatrie table, salads and prawns, hot meats and roast veg and yummy desserts with ice cream! The wine was delicious too but the grounds where what made it special a place the kids could roam and enjoy the lake and playground so mum and dad didn’t have to stress keeping them still and quite and no iPads required! The service was everyone was amazing, thanks to the staff for working Christmas I hope you got plates full of leftovers. we will be back next year 🙂

Fantastic place to go if you have energetic children! Plenty of outdoor benches for the family to sit on to enjoy the surrounding scenery, while the kids explore the estate 🙂 Food was delicious and well priced given the gorgeous location in the heart of the Swan Valley. Staff were great and polite, food was delivered quickly despite the venue being quite busy!

Finding a place that was kids friendly and not booked out over the weekend with a bonus of finding carparking. This was the place to be!!! Super entertaining for kids and adults young at heart wanting to join in on the fun. The little lake with peddle boats was great! It's probably the highlight for everyone. Food was pub grub, which nobody had anything to complain about. Fed the whole family for under the lunch budget as we were planning to do fine dining on the other side with the deer 🤐 but so glad we came here instead. Would definitely recommend as part of the Swan Valley stop. Also the Oakover Rare Tawny is delicious!!! Will come back the next time I am in Perth.
