From the very beginning, the team made the entire planning process feel seamless and exciting rather than overwhelming. Every detail was handled with such care, professionalism and warmth — we felt completely supported the whole way through. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking. Every corner of the property feels magical and romantic, with stunning gardens, beautiful heritage charm and so many incredible photo locations. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful everything was. It honestly feels like stepping into a fairytale. On the day itself, everything ran flawlessly. The coordination was impeccable, the staff were attentive and kind, and we were able to relax and fully soak in every moment knowing we were in the best hands. The food was exceptional and the atmosphere they create is truly something special. Gabbinbar gave us the wedding day we had always dreamed of and more. Gabbinbar is your fairytale venue. I remember our first ever viewing, down the drive it was absolutely breathtaking and as soon as we stepped foot onto the grounds we knew this was it. This was our venue. Gabbinbar makes you feel so calm and grounded. 13 months later my husband & I had the most perfect day in February. We were greeted and catered by such beautiful and attentive staff on our viewings and Wedding Day. Very professional team. Stunning grounds and most amazing ambience and the food hit every pallet! As far as decorations, I put my trust into our planners and they delivered. The dining room looked amazing. The entire day really went seamlessly with no troubles. The morning of was pure bliss and item drop off and pickup was made discreet and very easy. I am so grateful for this treasure of a Venue. Thank you Rachel & Gabbinbar Team for all that you do.

From the very first moment we stepped onto the Gabbinbar grounds, we knew we were somewhere special. It instantly felt calm, welcoming, and exactly what we had been searching for. A stress-free, intimate celebration with our closest family and friends was our dream, and Gabbinbar delivered beyond anything we could have imagined. The attention to detail was exceptional. We had complete trust in the team, which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy every moment of the day. Our guests loved exploring the beautiful grounds, each finding their own little sanctuary while still feeling so well cared for. And the food…absolutely outstanding! The roaming dessert was a highlight. Perfectly timed, delicious, and it encouraged guests to mingle and enjoy the homestead just as we had envisioned. So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended, and we truly believe that was thanks to the incredible Gabbinbar team. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue for our special day! Everything is so seamlessly organised right from the get go. We felt incredibly supported leading up to the event and even more so on the actual day. I truly had the most wonderful, stress free morning getting ready with my bridesmaids because I felt confident in knowing all the amazing staff were promptly and professionally organising all of the behind the scenes processes and final touches. All of our guests have commented on how magical and beautiful the venue is, how fantastic the staff were and how well looked after they were. We cannot thank everyone at Gabbinbar enough for giving us the best day of our lives. Particularly our beautiful wedding coordinator, Sarah, who looked after us from lead up to the actual day. We are so grateful that we chose this venue for one of the most important days of our lives and would recommend it without hesitation!

We cannot recommend Gabbinbar highly enough. From our very first meeting through to the weeks after our wedding, the communication, organisation, and care were outstanding. The staff went above and beyond in every way, not only for us but also for our guests, who still comment on how caring and attentive they were. The ceremony on the Governor’s Lawn was beautiful and serene, and our reception in the Conservatory and Ballroom was seamless, joyful and unforgettable. Everything felt effortless thanks to the incredible systems, attention to detail, and genuine care of the Gabbinbar team. We are so grateful for the part they played in making our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more.

A stunning venue and the most attentive and caring wait staff. Would give more stars if I could ⭐✨ My dietary requirements were FULLY catered for, to the point that I've never been offered so much food at an event! Staff were all aware of ingredients or happy to check with the chef via their little earpieces, and if an ingredient had been changed to make it safe, this was explained as to why it looked different to the main platters (ie. if the dressing on a skewer was changed). If this was the case, my food was on a separate plate to avoid cross-contamination. Also a delicious dessert option was provided after the yummy main meal. Absolutely wonderful venue, staff and catering. 👏👏👏👏

We’ve had so many of our guests reach out to tell us it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had without question. From the canapés to the mains and late-night bites, every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and absolutely delicious. The service was just as impressive our guests kept commenting on how attentive, friendly, and polished the waitstaff were. Nothing was too much trouble, and everyone felt so well looked after. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue or a more memorable day. Gabbinbar Homestead exceeded every expectation, and we’ll be forever grateful for the love and care that went into making our wedding so special.
