Enjoyed a couple nights here. Stunning surrounds and excellent meals. Special kudos to our waitress behind the bar, Brodie. An outstanding employee. Thanks for your expertise. Would love to return. 😀

Firstly I think this place should be more than 3 star! It ia beautiful. The beautiful staircase in the foyer wow! It was amazing here, such a beautiful place . Jo at reception was so welcoming, the staff were very friendly, we stayed there for the night and the accommodation was outstanding, super clean. We ate there also and the food was delicious, everything was so super clean it's not often that I don't feel uncomfortable in public places but I have absolutely no problem with this place at all it just felt so clean. We'll definitely go back there and if you get a chance to stay in one of the beautiful rooms do it it's really lovely and such a great location.. and well done to start for keeping it so we'll maintained

Fantastic menu of extremely high quality. I was only in town for a couple of nights and took a punt. Ended up back there the next night the food was so good. The salmon and grilled chicken parma, both excellent. Great range of beers and wines and friendly staff.

Have popped in for dinner a few times and have found the meals terrific. The staff are very warm and the atmosphere is gorgeous. Such a nice old pub.

Went out for date night. Left very upset. I (under 18) ordered a lemon lime and bitters and wasnt told there would be alcohol in it (as I assumed there wouldn’t be, since I wasn’t asked for ID). Lady brought it over to me THEN decided to ask how old I was…. When I replied that I was under 18 she spoke to me in a very very rude tone and blamed me for it. Not the first time I’ve had troubles with this same lady. She needs a severe attitude check and some schooling on how to speak to paying customers properly. Steak was horrible. Asked for medium rare and got half of it almost blue and cold then the other half overdone. Will not be visiting again.
