This was a really lovely setting for our wedding reception. The ambience was relaxing and beautiful, and the food and drinks were really special. The staff had a kind and helpful attitude. Lots of people comments how nice it was. I highly recommend this location.

What a lovely family run business this is. We held a 75th birthday party there, and the organisation was so easy and stress free. Calls were always returned quickly and the event rooms are brilliantly set out and equipped. We had a full band and the venue easily facilitated the set up and sound check. Food from Abbe’s kitchen is delicious and plentiful. We had the girl power team on the evening and they efficiently handled every part of the event. 100% recommendation.

We recently hosted our one-year-old’s birthday party here, and it was absolutely perfect! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The space was beautifully set up, clean, and welcoming, and the team made sure every detail was taken care of so we could truly enjoy the day. Our little one had the best time, and so did all of our guests. The atmosphere was fun, relaxed, and completely family-friendly. We especially appreciated how organised and helpful the staff were, they made the entire experience stress-free and so enjoyable. It was a celebration we’ll always remember, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to host such a special milestone. Highly recommend for any event, especially little ones’ birthdays! 🎉💛

Had a fabulous night at No 1. Events for my birthday. Beautiful views of the golf course, and nice courtyard for summer nights The staff were very nice and welcoming to me and all of my guests. The food was delicious, unfortunately the rare roast beef on brioche was demolished by my guests before I could have seconds! They had so many gluten free options and very accomodating with dietaries in general which made it such an easy party to plan. I am already suggesting we have my MIL’s 70th there next year and can’t wait.

We cannot speak highly enough of our experience holding our daughter's wedding at this beautiful venue. The food was great, the service was friendly and nothing too hard, the arrangements were made easy by Saxon, the scenery for photos was just perfect, and they even delivered the perfect weather. It was the best day. Thanks Saxon and the team.

I originally had this venue booked for my wedding on the 29th of August this year. However, the management was very difficult. Replies to emails were slow and days delayed. Was very restricted and non- cooperative with our wedding ideas, setting up the wedding and packing up. Expected all decorations to be removed at the end of the night when i wanted family and friends to have a good time and not worry about this. Very money and business oriented, requesting to hire for two whole days just to set up for my wedding, wouldn't allow to set up in the morning because they wanted to leave it free incase another person wanted to hire, which lead to no set up time. Complained that my wedding was too long and provided poor explanation and communication in understanding the hiring times and old menu. It got to the point where i needed to cancal and find a different venue. Thankfully I found a place in Moorooduc that was extremely comodating, quick Replies and happy help by trying to meet many of my expectations far and beyond for my special day. This venue is only ideal for work functions and seminars only. Even though majority of our communication was done before providing a deposit, they refused to give back atleast half.

For any brides who are budgeting and want to organise their own little ceremony/Reception this place is the absolute best. We hired the room along with bar staff and our night could not have turned out better. Fantastic photo opportunities as well as amazing views. Our guests were very impressed and the room we set up turned out beautifully. Saxon helped us through the whole journey and even gave us time to come and see the room so we could plan the room accordingly. Could not recommend enough!
