Kirwan Sports Club

Out to Lunch with Friends Went to the Kirwan Sports (Bowling) Club with a group of 26+ for lunch. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much more than the usual club food, but I was way off. Even though the place was packed and the kitchen was down a chef, the meals came out quicker than I thought. I ordered the Shiitake & Bacon Linguine with Prawns & Calamari—and wow, it was spot on. Full of flavour, prawns and calamari cooked perfectly (first time I’ve had calamari that good). Big credit to the staff and kitchen—seriously impressive effort. My score is 7 stars out of 5.

First time dining. A bit on the rowdy side on a Tuesday evening but apparently it is trivia night. Simple online booking tool on the website. Friendly staff who were very helpful to a new patron. No QR code ordering but that's fine. The line went quickly enough. Order came very quickly. Burger was by no means nothing incredible or unique but this establishment seems to be generally lower priced so that's fine. It still tasted good and filled a hole.

We celebrated our son's birthday at Kirwan Sports Club and it was awesome! I can't thank the team enough for making it such a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to make sure the kids had a great time. My son felt very special and everyone left with huge smiles. Plus the food was delicious, and the lawn bowls set up was great for kids and adults. Highly recommend Kirwan Sports Club for a fun and relaxed celebration!

Terrible experience, chairs are to low, feel like a naughty little boy eating at a table for adults. The ergonomics of the dinning area area woeful, eating with elbows elevated, painful shoulders just sitting waiting for meal. I won't be back.

Didn't know the kitchen was undergoing renovations but still no excuse for the meals really really bad. Fish salad & chips disgusting, beef pattie burger edible but not for $$$$.

Food good. Noisy. Popular. I was quietly asked to remove my mop hat by staff for some reason which was a bit weird but ok and friendly enough otherwise. No complaints from me really.

I have just held my 50th Gold, Glitz and Glamour themed party at KSC. The night was a massive success and I can’t thank Tammarra and the team enough. The team helped with set up, decorating and clean up and did everything possible to ensure the evening ran smoothly. The buffet dinner was amazing with plenty of options. I highly recommend the Kirwan Sports Club for any function.
