What a gem, luxury retreat surrounded by our country’s beautiful bushland, breathtaking views day and night. We stayed as guests for our friend’s wedding & from the moment we arrived we were wowed over & over by the space, facilities & over all experience. Very clean, comfortable accommodation. From bush walks, pool swims, drinks on the deck or by the pond, outdoor games & fire pit. Venue managers Jack & Sorcha were really hospitable & helped plan & execute the perfect wedding for my beautiful friends - thank you!!

We got married at Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat on July 5th, 2025, and it was absolutely magical. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism by Jack and Sorcha, who were incredible hosts. Their calm, thoughtful, and attentive approach made everything run smoothly and allowed us to truly enjoy every moment. The Rock Cathedral—where we held our ceremony—is a breathtaking natural amphitheatre surrounded by towering rock formations. It felt sacred and timeless, the perfect place to exchange our vows. After the ceremony, we moved to the Sunset Deck for cocktails, where we were treated to stunning panoramic views of the valley as the sun set. It was unforgettable. The indoor reception was equally as incredible as we ate and drank and danced the night away, followed by a quiet relaxing time to chat and reflect at the Boma fire pit, before heading to bed. One of the best parts was being able to have most of our guests stay onsite in the awesome cabins. It created a relaxed, retreat-like atmosphere and made the whole weekend feel intimate and connected. We’re so grateful to Jack, Sorcha, and the entire team for helping us create a day that was not only beautiful but deeply meaningful. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to begin our next chapter.

Myself and my now husband got married at the Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat last month and we would give this venue 10 stars if we could. From the moment we viewed the venue we knew thats where we had to get married. The onsite accomodation, sunset deck, rock cathedral, fire pit, swimming pool, games area all made for one happy couple and a fully booked venue of happy guests. It's literally an all in one venue that is completely yours for the entirety of your celebration. The process of booking a site inspection to booking and securing our wedding was fantastic. No questions were left unanswered and the communication throughout the entire process was nothing short of incredible. Every person we encountered was warm, welcoming and happy to answer any and all questions we had. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, everywhere you looked there was something beautiful. Its truly a one of a kind place and worth checking out if you're on the hunt for a stunning and unique wedding location. My only negative comment is that I cant re-live our day to experience this beautiful spot and all its features just one more time.

As a wedding photographer, Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat was such an epic experience for a wedding venue. The Rock Cathedral was as unique and stunning as everyone expected it to be. We were blessed with good weather, and my clients for sure had the best memories here surrounded by remarkable rock faces merged with the greenery. It's a real hidden gem everyone should visit at least once! I cannot express adequately the gratitude and luck we feel to have been able to book our wedding at Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat. The property and surrounds are extraordinary -- truly unmatched. We couldn't believe that a venue could have these remarkable natural surroundings AND offer the perfect festival wedding structure that we were hoping for. The accomodation and facilities were exactly what you would need to cater for 60 overnight guests, they were clean, well-equipped and stunning. The venue managers Jack and Sorcha and the admin and accounts teams made the process of booking the venue and keeping up with the phases of planning of wedding really straight forward. We really appreciated how much assistance was given to us in the planning stages. They were extremely understanding of any changes we had, even the last minutes ones that cropped up. During the wedding, Jack and Sorcha were utterly incredible hosts and went the extra mile. They are exceptional people running an awesome venue. All of our guests, both those staying onsite and the ones who came for the wedding and recovery brunch complimented us endlessly on the choice of venue. KVBR truly made our wedding absolutely incredible. It was so much fun! Most importantly, the weddings they offer here allow you to spend a lot of really good quality time with your guests. Our hearts were really, really full and we made such beautiful memories because of what the venue allows you to do with the space and the time that you get. Highly, highly recommend. If you can snag a date, you must book it!

What made the experience even more incredible was being able to stay for two nights and three days, allowing us to truly soak in every moment. The onsite accommodation was wonderful and thoughtfully designed for weddings, with everything you could possibly need — irons, steamers, and beautiful spaces that made getting ready effortless and enjoyable. The organisation and care from the venue managers, Jack & Sorcha, were beyond exceptional. From ensuring guests were perfectly seated for the ceremony, to lighting sparklers later in the evening, nothing was overlooked. Sorcha even held my bouquet before I walked down the aisle, and checking into accommodation was seamless and stress-free. They weren’t just managers — they became a special part of our wedding journey. Jack had the firewood stacked and ready, and together they made all of our guests feel welcomed and cared for. We feel incredibly blessed to have had the most magical, dream wedding at Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat. The beauty, organisation, accommodation, and people made it unforgettable.
