I cannot speak more highly of Boathouse Launceston and the incredible team there. When I approached them to host my mum’s funeral, my requests weren’t exactly "standard." I wanted everything white, filled with soft fairy lights — a reflection of my mum’s absolute favourite aesthetic. It was so important to me that the day felt like her — light, beautiful, and full of warmth. Not once did they make me feel like my vision was too much or too different. Nothing was too hard. Dan and Isaac went above and beyond in ways I will never forget. They handled everything with such care, compassion and professionalism, and executed every detail beyond my expectations. They turned the hardest day of my life into something truly beautiful and as perfect as it could possibly have been. The stunning riverside location of Boathouse Launceston, along with their seamless collaboration with Lethborg Family Funerals, made the entire process feel effortless during a time when I had very little emotional capacity. Everything flowed so smoothly, and I felt completely supported from start to finish. I am endlessly grateful. Thank you, truly, for honouring my mum in the most beautiful way. I could not recommend you more highly.

Exceptional Venue & Service! We recently experienced The Boathouse Centre in Launceston for a corporate event and were absolutely blown away. The function room is simply stunning — beautifully appointed with good views that create the perfect atmosphere for any event. Daniel and Sam went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail stood out from the moment we arrived. The special little touches were such a lovely and unexpected surprise — they made the experience feel truly personalised. Nothing was ever too much trouble. What an amazing experience! We arranged our daughter’s wedding reception at the Boathouse and we were not disappointed! Sam and her team from day one were just so professional. Throughout the celebration Sam was hands on ensuring everything was in order and that we weren’t stressed out, so we could just enjoy this special time. A great space for our Club Forum for 80 guests. Excellent venue, audio and visual presentations were well received by our audience and lots of smiles from participants when we had our "Desserts on Sticks" following our delicious meal. Highly recommend this venue for your next event.

A wonderful venue offering a huge range of event options - formal, corporate, casual, breakfast lunch or dinner! They can do it all! Brilliantly supported by a talented and attentive team. Highly recommend for any event you have in mine.

My Fiancé and I recently had our engagement party there using the venue facilities. So impressed with the team, the service, the food and the function room. Dan and Sam made sure everything was well organized before hand. Lui and his crew looked after us fantastically on the night. They made our night very special and genuinely seemed like they cared how our event went and wanted everyone to have a good time. We had many dietary requirements and they catered for all of them with no problems at all. Made sure everyone ate well and the night ran so smoothly. We didn’t really need any decorations because the team already had excellent decor. As well as a personalized sign for our engagement. The room was set up perfectly for what we wanted. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a stress free event in the future. Can’t talk this place up enough!
