Princes Wharf No. 1

We visited Princes Wharf during the Dark Mofo winter festival, which is the biggest festival in Hobart. This was honestly the coolest thing during our month in Australia. The atmosphere at this market was incredible, with many food and drinks stalls everywhere and many music performances. This is an amazing festival!

Amazing venue with amazing staff. Noticed someone commented about the long haired bearded guy who blocks people in on the forecourt. Newsflash champ, that's his job, don't like it dont park your car on a private forecourt you clown.

Large event space especially for the annual Taste of Summer food & wine Festival held in late December to January. Many Tasmanian breweries & winemakers, and restaurants have stalls, also live music entertainment. Indoor and outdoor stalls, seating and plenty clean toilets.

Awesome night, great food, we had tempura mushrooms, chicken sticks, squid on a stick and a pancake filled with bolognaise sauce and cheese. We sampled whiskey, drank mulled wine which was absolutely beautiful. There were so many food choices, it was great. It was flat access and toilets could be found easy. There was a seated area, but we could not access as it had steps, not one ramp to be found? So we sat outside the seated area in the weather. Luckily it did rain but not for long. There was also a seated area inside, which we did navigate, to source a coffee. Well done "Dark Mofo" beautiful night.

Wonderful event dubbed " Taste of Summer" hosted at the location. Colorful and fun night out with wine, food and live band. A great start to our trip at Tassie !

For event managers looking for a Hobart event venue... This place is awesome. You can dress it up however you like. Heaps of rigging options and access everywhere. It's right next to most of the good hotels, and peppermint bay ferry next door.
