Griffith Golf Club

The GGC is packed full of golfing legends that will do anything to help you get on the course, have a great time and stay for a chat after your round. This is anyone from volunteers, captains, greens keepers and paid employees. They love their golf and love their course.

While not a tough course, it’s surprisingly long at over 6,000m. The course condition was very good at Griffith Golf Club. Not many hazards but this is made up for by many doglegged holes. The distance markers on every hole are so cool and I think all courses so get them! Definitely great value for money and worth playing if you’re in the area.

Since taking up golf and becoming a member less than a year ago, Griffith Golf Club has been incredibly welcoming and supportive, making my journey into the game both enjoyable and rewarding. I’ve had two lessons with Darryl Sando, and the improvement in my game has been so noticeable that my handicap can barely keep up. His coaching style is relaxed and encouraging, never pushing me to book more lessons and always allowing me to return when I feel ready, which has really boosted my confidence. The friendly atmosphere, genuine support, and high-quality coaching make this club a fantastic place for anyone looking to learn, improve, and feel part of a great golfing community.

Wow I was pleasantly surprised ! I have driven past this for years and always wondered what it was like (near the airport) Absolute regional GEM by far the best country course I have played !!!! Tee boxes immaculate Fairways surprisingly green given the lack of rain Slick competition condition greens, so faaaaasst Was surprised at the fees when I called up over the phone for a social player, but once I teed up at the 1st, that feeling quickly faded away Played with a borrowed set of clubs and went reasonably well, but will return with my own next time very soon

A great layout. Course is well maintained and and although not overly challenging, it does require some strategy to play well. Greens are very fast and for those not used to putting on concrete, a bit of practice would be recommended prior to commencing a round.

Great course to walk and play. Staff very helpful and keen.

Very nice course, greens and fairways were in great condition. Quite forgiving holes without any sand traps. Greens were pretty fast.
