I’ve stayed in many motels around Goulburn, but The Abbey Motel is by far the best. The rooms are spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The whole place feels new, fresh, and perfectly maintained. It’s always peaceful and quiet, with plenty of parking available. The reception staff are genuinely kind, respectful, and extremely professional — they always go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. I’ve been staying here for quite some time now, and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. The Abbey Motel sets a new standard for comfort and hospitality in Goulburn. Highly recommended!
We LOVED the room. Beautifully decorated. However the a/c running all night gave us a terribly sore throat. I tried to turn it off in the middle of the night, only to discover it was centrally controlled. It was also quite noisy through the night. Would definitely stay again but not sure what to do about the breathing situation. The air was very dry. Wonderful service by staff though!! Great secure location.
Check in and check out were quick. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. Amenities in the room were adequate. A beautiful church is located right across the road. A nice cafe is just next to it. Highly recommended to stay in this hotel.
I've stayed at the Abbey 10 or 12 times now, usually for 3 or 4 nights at a time. Travelling for business. The location is great, central, but quiet. The service is flawless...can't fault them. The rooms are nice, clean, well maintained. I've stayed at 3 other locations in Goulburn, and frankly, they were perfectly ok. I'm not saying there's nowhere else acceptable to stay. But given the choice...I'll stay at the Abbey everytime.
A fabulous motel centrally located in Goulburn. Large light quiet modern room with smart tv with many options including Foxtel & Netflix, large bathroom, & quality toiletries. Guest parking includes four EV chargers for guests at no extra charge. All staff friendly & helpful. Next door is the excellent Roses Cafe open for breakfast & lunch. Highly recommended.
Great experience at this motel with my family while driving Brisbane to Melbourne. They contacted us and messaged us with all the details for a late check in. Rooms were clean and bathrooms spacious and clean. Location was perfect for exploring Goldburn on foot.
