Came to silks restaurant for dinner. Ate the cheese burger. The burger was full of salad, cheese and rich moist hamburger Patty. Great meal. Chips were hot and crispy. Second time I have been here and second time I have ordered the cheese burger. A great meal

Melbourne Cup Lunch at $200 a ticket, give it a miss, chicken dry, dessert terrible, choice of beer or cheap champagne. Best dressed a joke, couldnt understand host due to sound system. Very poorly organised event.

Darwin racing is well worth for a great day out. The facilities are excellent and the plastic bubbles cooling bag is a winner. The only disappointing is the food for the public area.

Great customer service at the front door for the race day. Can be a nice quit getaway on the weekends.

Yes the best place to stay and have a bet and meet up with people you know all would like to meet. And the Phil Cole stables are great 👍👍😃. I recommend this place

Great day out, cheap entry for fantastic underutilised facilities. Staff and patrons are all really helpful and friendly. You can get really close to the action. I recommend it to anyone for a fun day out. Even if like me your not a horseracing regular. The platters they serve for lunch are excellent value, all drinks average cost or below.

Silks is great. For all race day events there is a small ‘no passout’ sign that is up high and not immediately visible. Had to leave for an urgent matter and was told upon re-entry I was unable to come back in and asked "can’t you read" by security. Waste of money. This should be clearly visible on the purchased tickets also.
