Derby Bush Adventures

The most welcoming and accommodating staff. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Atmosphere was quiet, the pool area was immaculate. Also it was well situated in Darwin"s CBD. I could not recommend this resort more.

An oasis in Darwin!||We stayed four nights at our first visit and just one night at our last, at we had to fly back the next day. This is THE place to stay in Darwin, if you like a hidden oasis very close to the Waterfront and shops and restaurants.||The rooms are nice and clean. Staff is friendly. The pool is very nice. The atmosphere is great. ||During our first stay, we had an ordinary room, which is good, because you have a table and two chairs outside - but for our second stay, we booked a bungalow with a porch and an electric grill. There's also a small kitchen inside in the bungalow. We found that it was very well spend to pay that little extra.||Amazing place in lovely Darwin! We simply loved it and hope to have a chance to return.

The rooms are nice and seem sound proof although it wasn’t fully booked. I could see how the rooms on one side could be noisy from the pub. Grounds and pool clean. The nicest place I’ve stayed in Darwin. However, these no contingency plan when Chef is sick. Most places put the aircon on before arrival, not here. It really annoys me when I book for 4 people but they don’t have the initiative to think we might also need 4 towels. Rooms started with 6 of those tiny milk, enough for 2 coffees. Day 2 we were only allowed 5 milks and were told we would have to wait until the next day for more. So only enough for 1 coffee. Then the 5 were off and we’re replaced with 2 more off one’s.

Front desk staff were amazing and very polite and helpful. Our garden view room had a disappointing outlook nothing like the website showed. Bar didn’t open around pool on Friday evening. Garden room very small but clean.

We stayed at Palms City Resort for the last three nights of our three week trip in Northern Territory. We only booked it a few days in advance so were lucky to get a room as it had been sold out when I'd looked previously.||It was the perfect hotel for the end of our trip - right in the heart of downtown, just a block from the main street but on the esplanade next to a park. The grounds were beautiful with lots of luscious foliage and palm trees.||Our room, number 251, was on the upper floor of a two storey building near reception and was spacious and very nice. The bed was comfortable with lights and sockets on both sides (always a big plus point). There was a small balcony area with table and chairs. The windows had louvre shutters on which added to the overall tropical feel. We also had a small kitchenette with fridge/freezer and sink.||There was a nice pool which was lovely and warm even at night.

These bungalows have been upgraded since 2018, the last time we came here. They have the best use of a small space, with new showers and bathrooms. There is a new "kitchen area", tiny sink, microwave and refrigerator. The air con is upgraded and that is a big deal. The poll is kept well with plenty of chlorine. The created a improved limited parking area in the rear. The internet was rather abysmal unless you used it outside.

Loved this place! Staff so friendly, room excellent - immaculately clean and well-equipped. Loved the fact we were so close to the pool and local amenities and restaurants close at hand. Pickles, the parrot , was an added bonus.
