Mantra Pandanas Darwin

📍 Wedding venues in Darwin City

6.2

Mantra Pandanas Darwin offers a mixed experience in the Wedding venues category. The rooms are well-appointed, with comfortable beds and modern amenities like well-equipped kitchens and spacious balconies. Staff are generally friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay. The ground floor restaurant provides decent food at reasonable prices, and the location is convenient, close to the city center and a supermarket.

However, there are notable drawbacks. The fire alarm system has been reported as faulty, causing disturbances. Some guests have encountered issues like damp rooms, slow Wi-Fi, and inadequate hot water. The restaurant service can be slow, and the pool area is somewhat dated. Overall, while the hotel has its strengths, there are areas that could benefit from improvement.

Mantra Pandanas Darwin is in position 15 out of 24 in Wedding venues in Darwin City

Rooms are good, staff are trying their best, the ground floor restaurant had decent food and was reasonably priced. BUT...... the fire alarm system is ridiculous. On multiple stays there fire alarm has been faulty. Going off for hours on end, normally starting around 11pm, it became so constantly it was a novelty if we got to sleep a full night. NEVER staying here again

We had a one bedroom apartment which was immaculate in its presentation and had a very comfortable bed, which was great for sleeping.||We made good use of the well equipped laundry, kitchenette, large fridge, a walk-in shower in the bathroom. The sofa was comfortable, and to top it off, a large balcony with brilliant sea views.||The staff were friendly and welcoming, and ensured a great stay, by easily meeting any reasonable request.||Mantra Pandanas is close to the city center, and a supermarket. It has its own restaurant and bar, which we enjoyed on several occasions, with the food and service being top notch.

To sum it up, never again. -Damp room, -No towels changed for 5 days -Bed smelt from the dampness -wifi incredibly slow (even with the supposed high speed) - restaurant is awful, slow and terrible food -Car park can be difficult to get in to. -Only 5 mins of hot water in the shower - mini fridge defrosted by itself turning my items in the fridge soggy. Will be advising my travel agent to avoid booking anyone else from my company into this hotel.

Uncommon Sense

This is a pretty run down, crappy old Mantra. The whole place smells of mould and the furniture and flooring could do with a decent clean. The showers run out of hot water after 10 to 15 minutes. The pool also needed some attention. Apart from that the location is good and at night it was pretty quiet.

Beware this Hotel if you are Aboriginal, got taken up and down the lifts over and over and over. The hotel management was excellent until night shift came on, suddenly bank card doesn’t work and the female manager organised to have security eject me with out my luggage or my personal items. When I asked how I was meant to even call an Uber (had all my phone and charger items still in my suitcase in the lobby), security laughed at me as they voided my guest card and told me to walk. I advise anyone of Indigenous or Islander heritage to avoid and highly recommend the traditionally Owned hotel in Palmerston. Permanent residence will antagonise you to breaking point…other than all that I had no complaints True God you mob.

Average and very basic hotel. We had a deluxe suit on level 17. Views if all the roof tops. Comfortable, but definitely nothing fancy. Pool is poor. 2 Loungers for the entire hotel and the pool is very old and dated. Infinity area overlooking dirty rooftops. Fitness area advertised is non existent. Some of the reception staff are quite rude, however, most are helpful.
