Located at 169 Dolphin Street, Coogee, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 The Coogee Pavilion is an iconic landmark in Coogee. Popular with both tourists and locals. On the weekends and public holidays, especially at night, it can get very crowded. The view over the beach are absolutely stunning. There’s ample seating both inside and outside. Personally for me, it’s really lovely to sit outside, enjoy a meal and just watch the scenery. We usually come on weekdays because it’s nice to come when it’s not so crowded, but the atmosphere when it’s busy is fantastic. It’s designed really nicely, a great atmosphere with the games situated around, not just for kids. The giraffe is a great touch. It’s accessible for people with mobility issues and plenty of toilet 🚻 facilities. There’s steps and lift 🛗 access to the upper floors. The staff are generally good and professional but maybe someone should tell them to smile a little more. The menu has a a great selection of different meals and drinks. I usually love the pizza 🍕. I would definitely recommend a visit. It’s definitely worth it. Thumbs up! 👍👍

Great food and a great atmosphere. The burgers were excellent, the battered fish and chips were cooked perfectly, and the chitarra pasta was great. Service was smooth, with good timing between the starter and main course. Portion sizes were generous, I felt completely satisfied and had no room for dessert. Overall, an excellent experience. I would definitely go back again.

Coogee Pavilion is one of the best places to eat by the beach in Sydney. The food is always delicious — fresh, well-seasoned, and beautifully prepared. Whether you order seafood, pizza, or something more casual, the flavours are consistently great and the portions are generous. Everything feels fresh and high quality, and it’s clear a lot of care goes into the menu. The atmosphere is amazing, with a bright and lively vibe that matches the beachside location. The view is absolutely stunning — sitting by the windows or on the upper levels gives you a perfect look over Coogee Beach. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy your meal, and take in the ocean at the same time. The venue is spacious with different areas to choose from, and it works well for families, groups, or a casual date. Service is friendly and the whole experience feels welcoming and enjoyable. If you’re visiting Coogee or just want great food with a beautiful beachfront view, Coogee Pavilion is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

Staff are nice! No race discrimination here! But you still have to book beforehand during peak hours or holidays! Portion of food is tiny and quite expensive. But the tatse is excellent! I ordered crab n prawn pasta but really couldnt or hardly find any crab meat in there ! 😑😐😑 If you are a hungry person u gotta order more!!!

Second visit here, good for kids due to the back of the first floor having space for them to play & run around a bit. Good pub food, although seems expensive my fish & chips was $32, kids meals are $22. But the food is cooked well & came fairly quickly considering it was busy Huge venue lots of space over three levels, but after 1pm you see it get busier still. Located on the corner near the beach, lots of parking around although you have to get there crack of dawn as it fills up quickly. Would recommend a visit 😊

We had lunch here on Sunday without a reservation, but when we mentioned that we had a baby with us, the staff were very kind and gave us a great table. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious, especially the pizzas. We had a really lovely experience and would definitely come back.

Pizza and oysters were delicious! Pizza reminded me of an authentic Italian one. I would not recommend the battered fish - batter was bland, chips were already soggy and not crispy at all. Inside it’s quite loud, so I recommend to sit outside if you want to talk.
