A special mention to Poppy who was on the front desk, she was as helpful as she could be. Pros: Friendly staff. Free parking. Clean common areas. Good location. Nice food. Spacious, fairly clean room. Nice to have biscuits to go with a cuppa. Close to supermarket & shops. Cons: The toilet seat in my room was too small, it only just covered the inside bowl. Patches on walls. The bedside lamp didn't work. I had to leave the fridge cupboard door open because the fridge was very hot. Quilt had stains. Bathroom wall with the light switches needs a good clean. I believe the quality of the room I was in did not match what I paid ($400 for 1 night for 1 person). I was offered a free breakfast but no partial refund.

First time trying this venue and it will be the last. Cocktails were lacklustre, bar manager in the dining area needs to stop staring at customers. Wait staff delivered meals without any social pleasantries and missed a meal. So one person at our table had to eat alone way after everyone else had finished their meals. The Caesar Salad was awful. Shockingly bad. I ate the egg and left the meal. Hundreds of dollars spent on a dining experience which could have been better spent at a Kebab shop. Management need to go undercover and try dining at their own venue to see how bad it truly is.

We had our staff Christmas party on Wed 10/12. The staff were amazing especially Adrian and Crystal who were super helpful when I did th booking. Allowing me to choose my own tables, where we wanted to be situated, and allowed us to come and add our own decorations. Th girls on that day were so friendly and helpful they helped me set up and make th tables beautiful. My boss and colleagues were very impressed. The food was yum and service was efficient and timely no delays. Great teamwork Calamvale restaurant staff, as a result another branch of our service has also booked their Christmas party there due to our recommendation. Merry Christmas Calamvale Restaurant staff u guys rock!!!

We had a booking for 10 at the restaurant and the service was impeccable from the lovely man who met us at the door and the bar staff and servers were amazing. The kitchen staff and chef did a wonderful job with the food, it was out so fast and was hot and fresh. We have not been here for many years but will definitely return.

This is in regards to the resturant. The food from all 3 guests was just really bad. The rice seemed like a store bought mwo pack and the calamri just honestly mad me sick. I also question if the stone and wood beer was watered down. It didn't taste right. The playground was nice for our toddler, but was practically lord of the flies with you kids, no parents anywhere to be seen. It was a Saturday night, and I do get kids will be kids, but there was child running around with a massive tree branch he had ripped off. Not really the venue fault on this. But still affected the evening. Reading other poor reviews on the food, I'm honestly surprised it was so busy.

Our night and meals and service for my husbands birthday last night was absolutely terrible. The Manager never showed his face until he gave a refund of a small amount to a family member. There was so much wrong and will not come back there. Person in charge of the kitchen could of rectified the experience we had. My daughter,husband and grandson came down from Toowoomba for her father's birthday dinner to have their meals mucked up, grandson never got voucher for icecream or card for games room. My daughter had to go back and fourth several times. I could go on much more but upsets me to much. I have been to the garden restaurant several times for lunch and thats been fine, so hence why we chose there for birthday dinner, never ever again. My niece that ordered for her and her family never got their meals for an hour after she ordered from the table on her phone. No gravy for the steak that was ordered and paid for, the young staff didnt know what they were doing. What is the point of giving your table number when they come out and dont know who the meal is for as dont know the number. Just was very very disappointing for my who family. 12 of us were there. I hope other guests have a better experience than us. Never again

We come to the restaurant section yesterday and orders about 150$ worth of food! The supervisor lady wearing black taken to food to us and basically threw the food onto our table! A really bad attitude! She should work on a back room at Mc Donald’s! Horrible! Won’t go back and food was below average and expensive for what you get ! Don’t waste your money here
