I am commenting on the Motel as we didn't stay in the Old Hotel, which may be different. We were able to check in early which was great. The room was very spacious, with 2 comfortable chairs. The bed was a double which was comfortable but a bigger bed would have been nice. A little old fashioned but good for the money. Loads of restaurants within a few minutes walk. Well worth looking at if the price is good.
The Rose Hotel & Motel truly exceeded my expectations! From the moment I checked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making the process seamless. My room was spotlessly clean, surprisingly spacious, and beautifully decorated with a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I particularly appreciated the quiet ambiance, despite its convenient location. The amenities were well-maintained, and everything I needed was readily available. It's clear that attention to detail is a priority here. I highly recommend The Rose Hotel & Motel for anyone seeking a comfortable, clean, and friendly stay. I'll definitely be returning!
We had a 2 night stay here in a standard room with a queen bed. Location is fantastic, perfectly located in the heart of the town centre where we could walk to restaurants and local shops as well as get around on foot to local sights too! Very impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the bathroom, exceeded our expectations. Not a single web, mould or dust build up. Immaculate. Bed was super comfortable, and ac worked wonders. Neatly equipped with any extras we might need, and a nice coffee/tea station and fridge. Ample parking, and we didn't have any noise issues. Bottle shop next door was our contact if we needed any assistance after hours, which we didn't :). We had a very comfortable stay and great value for money for the period we booked 29-31st Dec. We also had a lovely experience dining in their pub, such a gorgeous interior and felt very festive as the christmas decor was still up. Great atmosphere! :))
I only booked for dinner with family. Service was great, venue nice and clean. They had happy hour between 5 and 6pm, so a discount on drinks helped. They didn't have a Seniors dinner on offer and the main meal I had was ok, veggies a bit hard and Barramundi could have been better, a lot of sauce on it. Kids meals were a bit pricey too at $14 each I thought. The kids meals are cheaper on a Sunday at $12 each. A lot to pay if you have a lot of kids. We didn't stay here as we are locals.
When we picked this place, we found Bunbury seemed to have quite high prices for accommodation and this place offered a $25 dinner voucher which seemed good value. ||The room itself is a standard motel style room but has most of the basics EXCEPT no hairdryer which I find is usually standard these days. ||We used our voucher for dinner at the restaurant which was lovely - it was parmy night at the portions were huge -we could easily have shared one between two.||Parking is tight but we managed to get one in the parking lot. However parking is also the main noise factor. We were woken by cars leaving early for work (its popular with tradie types), the garbage truck arrived some time after 5am and then the linen trolley and truck arrived around 6am. Also surprisingly, our fridge seemed to make banging noises at regular intervals through the night, not the usual hum, but actual bangs.||So, a goodish stay but noisy.
My wife and I plus friends went for dinner. Staff was cheerful which was wonderful...even when I said our chips could have been hotter. The Fish and Chips was huge and our friends Steak were thumbs up when asked.! Best Fish and Chips and the Rose Hotel has great ambience
Review is for the food. Biggest meal I've had 👍 . We drove all the way to Bunburry to eat in a pub but when we get there.. it's dead and quiet so we end up going to The Rose instead..thanks to the local grandma who directed us the way and it didn't disappoint. Food is nice too👌
