Came in to have a quick lunch… ordered at ham and pineapple pizza…. Minimal ham and pineapple. See photos. The edges were so crusty I couldn’t eat the entire slice…. Decided to get a cold drink…$6.60 for a can of Pepsi max… I nearly fainted but since I’d opened it I couldn’t refuse… the only reason they hit one star was because the air con was good…. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Great place for a birthday function. We had the hired the charlotte room and it had modern AV system and lighting controls. Good play area for the kids nearby to keep them entertained while adults had good time. Catering was also good, food was fresh and cooked well. Bar drinks prices were reasonable. Organising was easy and they communicated well all done via email and everything was ready on the day from table setup to catering, hassle free event with no stress for the host. Host can enjoy the event like any other guests with everything all sorted.
I love this little club especially the patrons. Lovely people who seem to enjoy life but are kind and courteous. The Friday night traditional jazz performance is amazing, attracting young and old who love to listen and dance to the music. Plus the upstairs restaurant and rooms has had a delightful upgrade, and the food there is so good. Right near Ashfield station and plenty parking adjacent to the service station on the corner. Highly recommended for the young at heart.
This is a typical local club. We expected outdated club decor, typical bistro menus, and cheap drinks, and got exactly what we wanted. The kids soft play area is great, and right between the bistro and the bar for easy dining while the kids play. It’s not fancy, but it is a good night out. The car park is not attached, you have to walk around the corner. Only one of the four cubicles in the upstairs women’s toilets has a sanitary bin.
They are the friendliest club. From the time you walk in you are warmly greeted and this warmth is reflected by the staff in the restaurant. Worth a visit and a dine 😊
Pretty empty in the bistro on a Saturday night - $18 pizzas very small and very average. I ordered a gin and tonic and it didn’t even have a lime/lemon and one cube of ice. Kids play area is good but it had leaves and dead flowers scattered throughout - maybe coming in from the vent? Not great for our crawling toddler and really shows it’s probably never cleaned. Wouldn’t go back
Fantastic food , friendly staff, and prices that seem like it's the 1990s. A great venue with wonderful lunch and dinner specials.
