DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Alice Springs

Recently stayed at the Hilton in Alice Springs. We had a lovely room on level 3 overlooking the pool area. I was extremely impressed by the service at the hotel, from the breakfast restaurant staff to the cleaners to the front desk. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room seemed to be recently renovated. Bathrooms may not have been however they were in very good condition. The beds were super cosy and comfy. I felt extremely safe whilst staying at the hotel as well. The rooms were large and had lovely decor. The rooms were extremely clean as well. The pool area is a little dated and the outside of the hotel is dated however quite well kept. This was my 2nd time to alice but first to the hilton and I have to say the hotel was fantastic overall.

I stayed at the Alice Springs Hilton DoubleTree Hotel during my road trip in December 2026 over the Christmas holiday period. The weather was fantastic, and the hotel experience was truly superb. The staff accommodated us very well and delivered service well above our expectations. The rooms and facilities were excellent, and staying there on Christmas Eve made the experience even more special. Their service is outstanding, and I highly recommend DoubleTree Hotel to anyone visiting Alice Springs—whether traveling with family, solo, or in any other way. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely visit again when I return to Alice Springs.

Overall very good. Nice big room. Cleaned every day. Service good. I have stayed 4 nights but bed sheet never changed!! They don’t provide toothpaste and toothbrush!!! But I still have enjoyed it.

We were visiting Alice Springs in December, when outside temperatures hovered above 40 degrees. After a disappointing accommodation experience elsewhere outside of town, we sought refuge here, and our experience was nothing but perfect. A nice pool, reasonably priced restaurants, a comfy room with perfect bedding and powerful a/c, and local advice. All of the above for a very reasonable price. Well done!

Surely the best place to stay in Alice Springs. The rooms are light, beautifully maintained and very comfortable. I swam laps every morning at 6am, watched on by the resident peacock. My 87yr old father (who was travelling with me) also loves the place. In particular, I would like to pass on our thanks to Leticia, Shriti and Widy for their kind and cheerful attention to our every need. Outstanding.

Arrived Xmas Day. Lunch was booked out but not interested at about $200 each. Had dinner in the restaurant that night and was ok. Had a adult beverage in the lobby bar that night. Went back the next night and was closed until February!!!!!! A lot was closed with only food and drink option being the restaurant or room service. 500m walk to casino. Rooms were OK and expected to be for a Doubletree. Love the cookies on arrival. Disappointed with the lack of food and drink options. Obviously not high season for Alice Springs because of the god damn heat

Had a good stay several yrs ago. As mentioned in another recent review, there's a lengthy walking distance from front desk to rooms, and from carpark to rooms. Had car trouble enroute so arrived about 10pm after all food had closed. Only remaining option was after hours room service which provided a bland luke warm pizza. (If arriving late night, get food elsewhere prior to arrival). Morning buffet breakfast was great though.
