The Richmond Hotel

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Richmond and couldn’t fault a thing! The location in the heart of Rundle Mall is perfect — everything is right at your doorstep, yet the rooms are peaceful and comfortable. Our room was beautifully styled, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was amazing, and the balcony views added such a special touch to the experience. The bar downstairs was just as impressive. Great atmosphere, stylish setting, and a fantastic selection of drinks. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. It was the perfect spot to unwind after a day out in the city. Overall, an outstanding experience with exceptional service, comfort, and convenience. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Hotel Richmond and its bar to anyone visiting Adelaide!

Came here as 2 couples in 2 rooms. Great location but very dated hotel with reception only on duty 9am to 5pm Mondays to Saturdays. The accommodation was clean but everything seemed very old. Not what we expected for what we paid. The bed was comfortable but the room smelled a bit, the shower head was tiny , the towels were almost threadbare and the toilet was old. We would not stay here again. We could not get breakfast due to the renovations taking place just outside. We would not stay there again.

Hotel location was great just at the Rundle mall, if come by Uber input address of Twin street and the hotel just right in front. Not recommend if you can only check in outside the reception operating hours. Our room cards were not able to open the room door and need to call for help, and it took us for more than half an hour to settle, in the cold and hungry night when we arrived from a long 11hours train from Melbourne!There was an opened milk in the fridge from last guest…

Super easy after hours check in and check out. Prime location right in Rundle Mall, with a car park included just a short walk away. The room size was huge, especially for such a central location, and the price was excellent for what you get. The air conditioning system was very loud throughout the night and didn’t cool the room particularly well. The rooms are quite old with noticeable wear and tear, and there was long black hair found throughout the apartment, which was disappointing. Despite this, I’m still giving 5 stars due to the unbeatable location, prompt and professional service, generous room size, and great value for money. I would stay again.

Enter the dungeon, if you like dark rooms and decore go for it, if not pass go do not stop. The access is appalling, one entrance was blocked completely and seemed to have been for sometime. The air conditioning was shocking, actually double sweating due to gear. It was cooler outside than in and patrons were complaining to staff, only to be patronised with an offer of a complementary drink. Would rather the air con temp to be lowered. As for service, there was one staff member who thought that whatever she was doing on her phone was more important than servicing a thirsty customer. I actually waited close to a minute before she decided to look up clearly knowing I was waiting.

We ate on the balcony in the afternoon sun overlooking the mall. We had the fried chicken and crispy Cajun fries. Both were excellent. Highly recommended if you're visiting the mall and looking for somewhere to eat. Cocktails were excellent too.

the food was phenomenal and the service from staff was amazing. the view of the mall from the balcony was by far my favourite part. i’ll definitely be visiting again!
