The most beautiful venue in the Yarra Valley and the attention to detail by the staff was 10/10. We were so happy with everything from start to finish. Trillian, Vanessa, Sheila and Claude were so accommodating and nothing was ever too much for them. Thank you for an amazing wedding!

I cannot thank the team at Potters enough for making our wedding day so perfect. Located in the beautiful Yarra Valley, the venue is incredibly picturesque and completely lived up to everything we dreamed of. From the very first venue tour, the staff were nothing but warm, friendly, and accommodating, which made the entire planning process feel seamless and completely stress-free. On the big day, everything ran effortlessly. From the moment we arrived, the team went above and beyond to make sure everyone was looked after (endless bubbles for the girls and beers for the boys – a definite win!). Our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was and how stunning the wisteria courtyard looked. A huge thank you to the incredible staff, especially Sean, Sheila, and Vanessa, who made us feel so relaxed and supported throughout the night. The beautiful reels and captured moments are something we’ll treasure forever. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to celebrate such a special day. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a breathtaking Yarra Valley wedding venue.

Potters Receptions is an absolutely gorgeous venue. We got married on 6/7/2024 and had both our ceremony and reception on site. Leading up to our big day the staff were spectacular in communication, responding to emails sometimes within the hour of sending them! They were always available to answer all our questions and were always happy to help in any way. The day before our wedding we had some major changes and with one phone call and one email, everything was promptly sorted out. The day of, staff were so incredibly helpful. From carrying my bouquet, to enuring we had eaten and drank enough, they were absolutely wonderful. Our day went so smoothly and I owe it all to the lovely staff of Potters. The food was resturant quality, the lighting and scenery was like something out of a movie. I cannot recommend Potters Receptions enough! Thank you so much to everyone at Potters! Olivia & Alex

Looking for the perfect place for our winter wedding, we found Potters Receptions in the Yarra Valley and we couldn’t be happier with the result! They made the whole process of planning a wedding easy, helping us through every step including recommended vendors, in house decorations and timelines. The different locations onsite were perfect to tailor our ceremony to what we wanted, the reception area brings beautiful rustic charm and the whole grounds were amazing for photos. Our guests raved about the food, which was absolutely delicious- couldn’t have asked for better! The onsite accommodation was also perfect for our bridal party, with the penthouse and bridal gallery also being great locations for some of our photos. Aside from all of this, the staff at Potters make it stand out from everyone else. They were beyond attentive to our needs during the entire process (including when it poured with rain 5 minutes before my ceremony was about to start!). We were told by so many people before the wedding "You’re getting married at Potters? We love Potters!" and it did not disappoint!

We had our wedding at Potters was amazing, everything went very well, we were 100% satisfied. Highly recommend Sheila, she was absolutely amazing, super helpful throughout the whole process! We had a wonderful experience and we would definitely recommend Potters to anyone else getting married.

Our wedding at Potters Receptions was magical. The atmosphere was both romantic and enchanting, providing the perfect backdrop for our special day. The team at Potters went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. They were incredibly professional, attentive, and always available to answer our questions and accommodate our requests. Shiela was very professional and made everything stress-free. Overall,Potters Receptions exceeded all our expectations. It provided a beautiful, romantic, and memorable setting for our wedding day. My husband Alex and were married at Potters in October '25. We chose October specifically as it was said to be the best time for the flowering Wisteria vine and sure enough it proved to be beautiful! We had a wedding of approx 130 guests. From the start, communication with the team at Potters was extremely quick and efficient. I emailed maaaany questions in the year or so lead up to our wedding and always received a quick reply. Things became only slightly delayed as our wedding day drew closer due to being in the middle of the busy wedding season, however in this case a phone call was always promptly answered and any important details settled quickly over the phone instead. Our main point of contact was Trillian and she did a fabulous job. Occasionally we also had some help from Amalia, Cass and Debbie who were all lovely. The planning process was fairly straight forward and Potters provided a detailed document to fill out as well as seating planners. Potters provided a very easy, all inclusive set up for the ceremony and reception. The only downsides I would say would be extra costs can be quite steep - including the tasting night, room hire, additional chair hire, and adding on extra platters of food or drinks. I do believe their newer packages have more inclusions such as the bridal suite for getting ready and included tasting night. I enjoyed the fact that guests can book and pay for a room directly which was great for some close relatives who chose to stay the night. For the ceremony: The team on the day were so sweet and helpful and made me feel totally at ease. They were so clear with their instructions and shepherded everyone where they needed to go. Vanessa was lovely as an assistant and also did an amazing job on content creation for us! She posted a bunch of clips after our wedding day which was amazing and I still love watching them. This was free and very unexpected but such a lovely thing to do for Potters couples! It was a little touch and go on the day as the sky decided to open up and pour just minutes before the ceremony was set to start. However the staff at Potters were amazing and made sure that nothing was damaged in the ceremony set up and quickly wiped down the chairs as it stopped raining. My assistant was extremely reassuring and had her weather app up constantly updating me on when it would stop and timed the start of our ceremony perfectly. The sun came out just as I walked down the aisle and it was magical! For the reception: The reception manager was so thoughtful and polite. He really worked to improve our night after a bit of a hiccup happened with a family member and went above and beyond in his service to make our night one to remember. Food was amazing, tasty and plentiful. I do wish they offered table service to serve the wedding cake with coffee afterwards - we did donuts rather than cake, and it's served at a buffet table off to the side of the room after the plated dessert. However by this point in the night everyone is busy dancing and I personally didn't even see the buffet table - luckily we were served some donuts at our room later. I did enjoy that the staff were thoughtful enough to offer to-go bags with the leftover donuts to guests at the end of the night! The room was very comfortable and we had some drinks and desserts thoughtfully laid out for us - although we got very little chance to enjoy the gorgeous room and bathroom since we were so tired and left first thing in the morning. Overall I'm very happy we chose Potters for our wedding venue and honestly couldn't find any major fault with them. The location really is unmatched and getting married under the wisteria was a dream come true. Thank you so much to the entire team at Potters!
