As soon as we walked in, we knew this was 'the place' for our wedding. The gazebo area was breathtaking, the inside venue overlooking the garden was simply stunning. Should it be raining on the day - the inside chapel was just as impressive - that it would not have bothered me if our ceremony was moved indoors. Poets Lane is gorgeous. We had family coming over from overseas and the onsite accommodation was a plus and logistically made everything so much easier, especially for the night before preparations, vendors and winding down, after the day was over. Peta was just lovely; professional, friendly, calming and had such an attention to detail - it was impressive. She coordinated for us and on the day was everywhere, to assist in all the finer details - just to make it perfect. The food was nice and abundant. They even offered/served the extra main dishes for those guests who could not make it. We had a cute space for nannies to provide entertainment for our younger children. Our guests were very complimenting of the venue/day. Highly recommend.

We attended a friend’s wedding at this venue, I loved their beautiful garden and the interior of the house. Their gardens were well-maintained. The reception area was simple but beautiful, we could also see lovely plants and flowers through the window when we sat in the dinning room. The wedding went smoothly, I liked their finger foods and the cheese board before they offered the meal. However, their food was kind of mediocre and out-of-balance. Specifically, some dishes were either too strong or too salty, while others lack flavours and textures. The desserts were a bit disappointing, I only ended up eating the ice cream. Despite the food, I had a wonderful time with my friends here.

Lovely venue. Good parking and the atmosphere is delightful. Great venue for those important events in your life.

We had our tasting night for an upcoming wedding on Saturday and Poets Lane. It's been a year now since we chose this venue for our youngest sons big day. What a great team here. The tasting night was brilliant and confirmed what we first thought when we chose this venue. 1. Fantastic food. 2. Great team who ensure your event is special and individual. 3. Soooo clean. We viewed a lot of places in the ranges. It's a difficult area to keep a high standard of cleanliness. Poets Lane is exceptional. Their attention to detail is showcased on how clean the venue is. We are so pleased that we have chosen this venue for our special event. Whilst the day is still to take place, we have every confidence in the team, to ensure the day is perfect.

Amazing venue in the heart of the Dandenong Ranges. Quaint, lush and lots of great places to take photos. Love photographing here. Cannot wait to be back.

This place is fantastic. Beautiful venue and friendly staff. We had our wedding hosted here and every staff member was professional and helpful. They organised everything perfectly that you only need to enjoy your special day. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to have a fabulous wedding.

The venue was so beautiful and romantic. It's a perfect venue to host your most perfect day. Only x1 comment- it was difficult to know where to park and many guests, including us, had to drive up and down the gravel road to find the right entrance. Better signage would be helpful.
