Sy is a true professional and master of his craft. Through the wedding planning process, his tried and tested resources was the safety net we could fall back on. On the actual day, he was dependable, kept us on track and communicated well with other vendors. But it is at our nighttime reception that he really shined as our MC. He was directing our guests ensuring everyone has their group photo taken promptly and that all guests filled in the guestbook (which was very important and meaningful to me) whilst maintaining top-notch lively atmosphere the whole night. My wedding was incredible and it would not be possible without the guidance of Event Weddings.

Sai Chung and the team at Event Weddings were the key to the success of our special day. He truly looked after us from our first consultation session till the very end. The planning process had been made easy, and services were tailored to my needs…even as a picky bride! And the day would not have gone so smoothly without Sai’s superior coordination skills. His extensive experience in operations meant that the unexpected things were quickly smoothed over…sometimes without me even knowing so I could remain stress-free. His MC skills in 3 languages were praised by all our guests. I cannot recommend Event Weddings enough!

We worked with Sy for our wedding as MC, celebrant, and day-of coordinator. From start to finish, he did an incredible job handling our itinerary. We thought it was going to be somewhat complex (with tea ceremony, door games, ceremony, and reception), but Sy handled it perfectly. He helped bring all the equipment for the tea ceremony, and patiently explained where everyone should go for the tea ceremony and door games. He did a great job with translations, smoothly transitioning between English and Mandarin so that our parents and the older Chinese guests could follow along what was happening. He even was able to translate both of our parents' speeches from chinese to english on the fly with less than an hour's notice. Throughout the wedding, he also did a great job of shielding us from various complexities and negotiating with our photographers and videographers to make sure everyone was aligned in terms of what the plan was. Because of this, we were not particularly stressed during the wedding - he always kept us updated on what our next responsibility was. Overall, I would recommend Sy as a coordinator and MC, I think he did an excellent job and fulfilled everything he promised to do.
