Bathers' Pavilion

One of my favourite lunch spots, the bistro here is a must try. Been coming here for over 20 years. Lunch today was excellent yet again! The special wagyu beetroot salad was 10 out of 10, what a way to start! For mains we had the lamb rump which was so tender and that salsa verde was so flavoursome, you must try this dish. The steak de frites was a bit disappointing but fries were great, so will try something else next time. The deserts were so good, highly recommend the strawberry eton mess and the crème caramel. The coffee is great too. One of the best lunch spots in Sydney.

Beautiful restaurant, good vibe and attentive service. We came here for dinner, invited by a local couple. The dishes are beautifully presented and they are delicious too. Good white wine pairing. We arrived a bit early and her had a chance to explore the beach nearby. Very clean and beautiful neighborhood. The restaurant is also stunning at night with all the lights. If you come to Mosman for a night out, this restaurant can be a good option to sample quality Australian dishes.

We tried the Valentine’s Day set menu and absolutely loved it. Every dish was elegant, beautifully presented, and genuinely delicious — it exceeded our expectations. The service was warm and attentive. The only downside was that the tables were set quite close together. That said, you can’t really overhear other tables’ conversations. We will come back.

The food is good. Highly recommend the seafood. We ordered the snapper and the trout along with the snapper ceviche which is sooo pretty with hints of sweetness from the pear. The bread also came warm and soft which is always a good sign at a restaurant. Beautiful views for lunch and my gin martini was nice. Staff were a hit a miss in terms of service- either really meh or really sweet. I will say it was SO odd the way most, if not all the Asian groups were sat in one section together by the restaurant. It left me, an Asian person born, raised and educated in Sydney like any true blue Aussie, feeling decidedly uncomfortable. I sincerely hope that my experience was the outlier and not the norm at Bathers.

It’s a fantastic spot for brunch, especially on a sunny day. Located right on Balmoral Beach, the views make a stunning backdrop. The service is warm and attentive, and the menu offers plenty of great options. The oysters and mussels were particularly impressive—juicy, sweet, and tender. There’s also a thoughtful kids’ menu, making it a great choice for families. Always a favourite of mine.

Average food and below average service, unfortunately, I've had an unpleasant lunch at the bistro. We arrived at 11.40am for a 11.45am booking, been unattended at the entrance, while I made numerous attempts of eye contact with the busy waiters/waitresses walking past us, no one addressed us until I've got very confused and paranoid, not sure if this is purely rude or racist? I took my mum out for a lunch to enjoy the lovely weather, I've choosed Bathers instead of Gunners to be closer to the water on such a nice sunny day, absolutely ruined and started our meal unpleasant, will definitely not coming back again.

We have our Wedding Reception here, Ray is the venue manager, he is really helpful, easy to communicate, definitely recommend him. Such a beautiful night and the Food is amazing.
