What an incredible experience!! My shoot was with Sabrina and the reveal with Jake. They made me feel incredibly supported & beautiful the entire way through. For such a vulnerable thing I didn't feel uncomfortable or unsure at any point, Sabrina created such incredible photos that I will cherish for a lifetime. Sabrina and Jake were so incredibly welcoming! I have never done a boudoir shoot before and I was sooo nervous but with the confidence boost and pose guidance from Sabrina, all while she took the amazing shots, my nerves went away so fast! Jake walked me through the reveal session where I saw the photos for the first time and I was absolutely blown away! I've never ever thought I was worthy or "attractive enough" to do anything like this, but the photos that they had taken changed my self image for the better!! What an incredible experience! I had been wanting to do a boudoir photo shoot for a while when I found out that Apricot Aura existed. I had worked with The team before for another event and was so excited to find out they now do boudoir. When I arrived to the studio I was greeted with my choice of music, snack and drinks. The atmosphere was chatty and friendly while I was getting my make-up done and definitely helped with making me feel welcome and comfortable. Jake worked tirelessly to make me feel beautiful throughout the whole shoot. He was very accommodating of the fact that I have an existing knee injury and was 28 weeks pregnant at the time of our shoot. He made sure I was comfortable before doing all of the poses. The reveal session was just as fun. Seeing the magic we all worked to make will bolster my confidence forever. I would be amiss not to mention the incredible editing skills of Sabrina! Every single image I looked at just had me in awe! 1000/10 would do again!!!!

I recently had a boudoir session with Apricot Aura, and it was one of the most fun and creative experiences I’ve had. I went in with a mix of excitement and nerves, walking into something where you feel so exposed is scary, but the moment I saw their beautiful studio, those nerves faded immediately. Jake instantly made me feel welcome and at ease. He explained everything clearly, played (and sang along to) my favourite music, and had this calm but encouraging hype man energy that made it feel more like hanging out with a friend than a photoshoot. Within minutes we were laughing, chatting, discussing our creative pursuits, and creating beautiful images together. He guided me through poses so naturally that I never felt lost or awkward, and he even showed me a quick sneak peek mid shoot that completely blew me away, honestly this guys skills are unmatched!! The studio itself is stunning and so thoughtfully set up, you can feel how much care Jake and Sabrina put into every detail. Even though I only met Jake on the day of the shoot, it’s clear that both of them pour their hearts into making this a safe, welcoming space. When I saw the final images, I was genuinely stunned. They were elegant, natural, and me, but captured in a way that made me see myself with fresh eyes. It’s not just about the photos (though they are absolutely beautiful), it’s about how the whole experience makes you feel, which for me was confident, proud, and celebrated exactly as I am. If you’re on the fence about booking a boudoir shoot, I can’t recommend Apricot Aura enough. You don’t need model experience or a 'perfect' body, Jake and Sabrina know how to bring out what’s already beautiful in you. It’s a gift to yourself that you’ll treasure long after the session is over.
