Went in last minute to get some balloons and party supplies, Michelle at the Spartys counter was awesome. Correctly gave the right balloons, configuration and what would work, a great staff member. Thank you.
We saw online they had dutch ovens in store. Went there and couldn’t see any, asked an employee who said they don’t have them anymore. We asked if there’s any in storage cause online said it does and she didn’t want to have a look. A week or two later we went online and saw we could order it through click and collect which we did. The click and collect page announces you can "click and collect in the next 2 hours". We put the order in at 2pm and went there at 5pm. They said they didn’t get the order processed yet. At 5:30 our order had been canceled with no explanation. We called them and they said it was out of order for every store. The website still says it’s in store.
Great place to find costumes for book week and fancy dress parties. Lots of kitchenware, homewards, decor, bedding and craft supplies.
Honestly Spotlight is rubbish. Has a terrible range of goods, only 2 tension rods to choose from, pathetic! and not a wide variety of sizes either, curtains are always way too short, rods are too short, never have I been able to get anything that fits any of the places I have lived.
Spotlight Townsville is a mess. Shelves always empty, stock is never available, most staff are rude, unhelpful, and have no product knowledge. Waiting for assistance is a waste of time. Management needs to step in immediately as they CLEARLY aren’t doing their job properly — this store is unacceptable and completely disappointing.
Ducked in to quickly pick up one item. Not my usual Spotlight, so had to ask where to find it. Lady took me straight there and was happy to help. No inconvenience to her at all. Wish I could remember her name, but she is younger with blondish hair.
Store has really good car parking and the staff are always, really friendly. They always have great discounts too, especially if you're a member.
