Bass & Flinders Distillery

Third time trying to get here and finally, on Australia Day mission accomplished. Glad we dropped in. Bass & Flinders are making some outstanding Australian style gins and making the most of the local botanicals. Favourites were the Signature and Maritime Gins and recommend finding your favourites with a full 2 paddle tasting… best not leave anything to chance 😉 great precinct that they are located in with breweries and wineries just the road. BTW - if you’re into Brandy, best not leave Nana in the car on a hot day, bring her in too - looks like they are doing good things on this area of the spirit universe. Still a galaxy too far away for me though.

Did the gin making masterclass. Such a wonderful, sensory and memorable experience. Kim gave such an amazing insight into the history of gin, and then skillfully lead our gin making class. We had so much fun playing with all the different flavours to create something of our own. And it ended with a tasting of all their gins - sooo yummy!

Holly came to Singapore to explain the process of distilling and how they infuse their botanicals. The gin here is absolutely phenomenal! It is so smooth to drink and flavoursome. Great job Holly and team! LOVE IT!

We had an amazing time at this gin masterclass, thanks to Kim, who was absolutely brilliant. She combined deep knowledge with a fun, welcoming style that made the whole session engaging from start to finish. Kim explained the botanicals, history, and tasting notes in a way that was easy to follow and genuinely interesting. Class includes cheese plater, crackers & your very own gin recipe to take home! If you’re thinking about a gin masterclass, Kim is outstanding — highly recommended 🫶

I’ve had many great days at the cellar door in Dromana enjoying the delicious gin cocktails with friends and soaking in the atmosphere. The staff are so welcoming and I’ve always felt very looked after. The gin is absolutely delicious, the botanical infusions are all so distinctive and I’ve enjoyed exploring all of the different varieties over the years. Highly recommended!

Yvette, Oscar, Mia and Austin are incredible. I had a hens party of 9 people and Oscar did the most amazing job of hosting the cocktail making class. He was patient and accommodating with my guests. We absolutely loved the drinks and he did an amazing job. Yvette was incredible as well. She was helping organise the bottomless brunch food and drink and she asked our preference and was amazing in ensuring the dietary requirements were sufficient. Highly recommend for your group of friends or a hens party

Such a fantastic gin bar — great atmosphere, incredible gin selection, and drinks that are clearly made with care. But the real highlight was Nicole. From the moment we walked in, she made us feel genuinely welcome, took the time to chat, and gave the best recommendations based on what we liked. You can tell she truly loves what she does, and it absolutely shows. Nicole is the kind of person who turns a good night out into a memorable one. We’ll definitely be back 🍸
