Upside Down Events

We worked with Upside Down Events for the flowers at our wedding reception on 21 February at the Establishment Ballroom Sydney and had a wonderful experience. I originally found them on Instagram and loved their style straight away. Amy and Lilac are incredibly talented at creating floral arrangements that feel special and thoughtfully designed. Instead of the typical wedding setups you often see (like simple clusters of white roses and large candles), they really design the flowers to match the overall look and feel you’re going for. I asked for something timeless and classy but still interesting and unique, which is quite a vague brief and perhaps contradictory but they understood it perfectly. They only used real flowers, and the reception decorations turned out stunning. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful the flowers were and said the whole setup looked very artistic and "designer" than what they are used to seeing. Most of all, I absolutely loved my bouquet. It was elegant and classic to match my dress, but still had a unique touch that made it feel special. From the get go, Lilac was a breath of fresh air for us. She has the most amazing personality, so bubbly, easy going and always so happy. Nothing was ever a problem for her. Lilac and her team did all our wedding planning, styling, stationery and on the day coordination and they excelled magnificently in every aspect. We were SO grateful to have them on board. Especially the on the day coordination. We can confidently say Lilac was our lifesaver, trusting her to make all our decisions. She made sure the whole day went smoothly and with no hiccups. Lilac was truly heaven-sent! From the very beginning, she was organised, professional, and completely dedicated to bringing our vision to life. We didn't know how to execute such an overwhelming day, but Lilac made the entire process feel seamless and stress-free. Lilac was a dream come true! right from our first meeting she took the time to understand my vision. She took the time to get to know us as a couple and asked questions that I know helped her to execute our wedding styling perfectly. I still remember being in awe when i saw our ceremony and reception space on the day. Throughout the entire planning process and the day I didn't have to think about anything because I had so much trust her in her. I loved that Lilac delivered my bouquet and we were able to chat, we also had lovely interactions when she was packing down and setting up for our venues. she is such a welcoming presence and super supportive. We received so many compliments and I know our family who did interact with her on day loved her. Hubby and I still talk about it 6 months on. if we had more events to plan we would go to lilac without hesitation.
