Chapel 1885

We had the most incredible wedding day at Chapel 1885! After our original venue cancelling 2 months out from our wedding, the Nudo team were amazing to work with. Jenna made it feel easy to restart the planning and understood our vision. Having her there on the wedding day too made all the difference—we felt so confident and well taken care of from start to finish. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how smoothly everything went and how amazing the food was, not to mention how stunning the venue is with minimal decoration. Highly recommend Chapel 1885 as a venue for a small wedding!

My husband Cooper and I had an incredible wedding at Chapel 1885. Although we were faced with plenty of surprises early on that had us feeling extract nervous, we were surprised at how perfect the day was from the moment we arrived at Chapel 1885. The service was fantastic, the staff looked after everyone, particularly Cooper and I with great hospitality. We had 43 people at our wedding in total and we all fit perfectly! We wouldn’t have changed a thing. Thank you to everyone who made our day run so smoothly!

We held our wedding ceremony and reception at the 1885 Chapel in May 2021. The venue itself is absolutely stunning with the two feature windows at either side, which both make beautiful backdrops for a wedding ceremony. It is also very well set up for a reception with an area for a bar, speeches, grand piano and dance floor. We couldn’t have imagined a better venue to host our intimate wedding and so many of our family and friends commented on how perfect and unique this venue was. Felicity and Siew went above and beyond to make our wedding a success. In the year between when we first visited the venue and the big day they were in continuous contact with us to provide us with guidance and suggestions for the wedding. They were very generous with their time to ensure everything was organised and ran smoothly on the day. The 1885 Chapel is a magical venue and the owners made sure our wedding day was the best day of our lives.

Chapel 1885 is just such a stunning venue. It was the perfect venue for a small wedding of 48 guests, and the flip from ceremony to reception was incredible. The team at Goodsmiths made the venue look stunning and really brought out the character of the small space. Ourselves and our guests absolutely loved the uniqueness of Chapel1885. Highly recommended!

Chapel1885 is a spectacular and perfect venue for intimate weddings! My partner and I fell in love with this place at first sight and we immediately decided to have our small wedding at Chapel 1885!
