Adelaide Wedding Dance

Where do we begin? We have never danced ever in our lives before we came in and we had 2 left feet. Getty was very patient and understanding but also challenged us to step outside our comfort zone to be the best we could be. She had many different techniques and approaches to teach us the dance steps when one wasn't working. The result was amazing and one of the best highlights of our wedding. The dance was spectacular and very unique, personalized to our song choice, with different lifts and highlights which matched the songs and vibe. It will be easily one of the best achievements we have ever done together in our lifetime so far. Dancing was never on our list as an activity we would do, however, after learning with Adelade Wedding Dance and Getty this is definitely a future hobby for us. 11/10 STARS

We loved learning our wedding dance with Oscar! Oscar and Getty were friendly, attentive, and so passionate, it made us want to go and learn our dance and we really loved making this part of a date night routine! Matt is not a big dancer so by Oscar being so accomodating and enthusiastic, it really got him involved and excited!! Our guests loved our dance and it really spiced up our wedding day! Thank you so so much, we have these memories forever!!

Getty was our dance instructor for our wedding dance. We had a wonderful experience, with lots of laughs and fun at our dance lessons. Our family and friends were very impressed with our wedding dance, it's something I never imagined doing but I'm so glad we did.

Wow! Where to begin! Getty was so patient and supportive throughout the whole process. We went from pretty novice dancers to being able to put together a 4 minute routine for all our wedding guests. We both had so much fun going to a lessons, and Getty was able to get the best out of us. Could not recommend the team at Adelaide Wedding Dance highly enough to anybody wanting to wow their guests with a first dance!

We loved learning how to dance for pur wedding. We were nervous since my partner and I had never done a partner dance before. But Getty made it so much fun! Getty was patient and so invested. Even though our song was in a different language, Getty took the time to not only understand the beat but the lyrics and create something so romantic and beautiful. We truly had a lovely time and it felt more like dates than dancing lessons!

Getty did an awesome job creating a dance around the song we chose. Dancing does not come naturally to my partner so it was important that it was easy enough for him to do but still beautiful and fun. The dance was impressive and had many good moments in it. If we had more time we could have maybe done more with it and the scheduling could prove difficult some weeks. But overall it was a great experience and we ended up with a beautiful dance at the end.

Our first dance was a moment we will never forget and was the highlight of our wedding night. We had never danced before taking lessons at Adelaide Wedding Dance and barely recognised ourselves when we watched back videos of our first dance. Getty crafted a unique routine that matched our personalities, and our guests were in awe of the lifts and highlights. Our friends and family came rushing to ask how we learnt to dance and many said they wished they had learnt a first dance for their wedding, or wanted to learn. Getty is an incredibly skilled, experienced and patient teacher. She took time to understand our preferences and made the entire process of learning to dance enjoyable. She went above and beyond helping us consider the venue, dancefloor area, shoes and attire so that our dance went smoothly. Its no surprise that Adelaide Wedding Dance has won so many wedding vendor awards, they are brilliant at what they do, and we cannot recommend Getty highly enough. We bonded even more deeply as a couple through the experience and we will savour the memory of our first dance forever.
