There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Dan and his photos are! From his first email I could tell he was an easy going, lovely guy who understood what we wanted for our wedding day right off the bat. There was never a silly question and he always made time for a phone call if we needed it. Flash forward to our day and Dan made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and cracked enough jokes to keep everything fun and lighthearted. His work ethic is incredible! We received sneak peek photos so quickly after the day and then our full album not long after that! Incredible stuff!! Our wedding photos are everything I could’ve dreamed of. Dan captured the whole day beautifully, every single photos tells the story of the day and I am obsessed with looking at them from start to finish. The way he captures emotion and love not just of the couple but of the family around them is unbelievable. I don’t think I’ll ever stop gushing over the photos. Thank you for much Dan! We booked Dan Cartwright Photography for our wedding in Palm Cove, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better photographer! Dan flew up for our special day and made everything so easy and comfortable from the start. He’s so easy to get along with — professional yet relaxed, and he had us laughing the whole time. It really felt like having a friend there capturing our day. That very evening, Dan surprised us by sending through a few edited photos already — and they were stunning. He captured exactly what I had asked for: beautiful, natural photos of my husband and I, some precious shots of our kids, and gorgeous family portraits that we’ll treasure forever. Dan went above and beyond and truly exceeded our expectations. We’re so grateful to have had him as part of our day — highly, highly recommend!

I truly cannot put into words how amazing Dan is both as an incredibly skilled photographer and as a wonderful person. From the moment he arrived, he made us feel completely at ease! He is so funny and kept us laughing all day, yet he also managed to be like a fly on the wall, capturing those raw, candid moments without us even noticing he was there! The photos he captured of my husband and me, our family, friends, and the venue are absolutely stunning and high-quality. Dan recently photographed our wedding in January 2026 and was absolutely brilliant. We couldn't be happier with the photos that came back - and not to mention we were shocked to get sneak peek pics the day after and the full album in less than 2 weeks! We were thrilled with the way Dan captured everything so beautifully; every detail, emotion, laugh, and interaction - and not to mention quite a few of our tears! He has an incredible eye for detail and is a a very very talented individual. Beyond the photos, Dan was calm, relaxed, and witty ball of energy on our wedding day. Dan was absolutely incredible!! I booked both him and Craig (video) WELL in advanced and knew I wanted them for our wedding. He was so great to work with and always has such a great eye for the little moments. Dan made us feel so at ease on the day and made sure to capture any small moments that would mean the world to us. Wow, Dan, we cannot thank you enough for capturing our wedding day. From day one of becoming engaged I knew I wanted Dan. We booked him as one of our first vendors, changing our wedding date to ensure we could have him with us on the day. And oh boy, are we glad we did! We can't recommend Dan enough - just look at his portfolio; it speaks for itself. As soon as I saw Dan's previous work, I knew we had to have him on our wedding day. He captures moments that would normally get missed, focusing on the finer details. When Dan arrived on the morning of the wedding, he was straight into it. He was awesome to have around. His experience showed, at times, it felt like he knew more about what was happening than our venue coordinator! Dan really made my husband and I feel relaxed, and he has the best sense of humour.
