I absolutely LOVE this house! I am a photographer and did a shoot there for a client. Megan is the best! She prepared all the house with amazing decorations and added some special touches just for us. She carefully did a tour with me to showed me around to ensure we had the best time there. Can’t recommend enough. A house filled with natural light, extreme good taste in furniture and decoration. The backyard garden and the bathroom were my favorite, and the owners are just amazing people! Loved the energy and all the photos!

I recently had the privilege of doing a brand photoshoot at Barefoot & Salty, and let me tell you—this place is pure magic. Megan is an absolute angel, thinking of every little detail and going above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. From the moment you walk in, you're embraced by warmth, stunning aesthetics, natural light, and beautifully flowing space. Every room is styled to perfection, making you feel instantly at home and the gardens (both front and back) are beyond dreamy. Barefoot and Salty was the most beautiful home to use for my photography sessions. I knew walking in it was going to be beautiful but once I arrived my expectations were blown out of the water. The intense feeling of calm of relaxation makes you want to stay forever. The home was filled with natural light, endless photo areas and beautiful smells. Megan was a wonderful host, easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything and more. Can't wait to be back!

Barefoot and Salty has the most incredible property for all our shoots. We have filmed short films and adverts here. Plenty of natural light and for a film crew I would say it is one of the most effortless locations we have ever worked at. Plenty of street parking and easy access through the property. Megan looked after my crew and I and she was nothing short of amazing and accomodating. Megan is a creative in her own right and the effort she has gone through to establish such a beautiful location is nothing short of incredible. Megan looked after our booking, not only is her service 5 stars but we were quick to discover she knows absolutely everyone. Very well networked especially in the Maroubra community. This home is like walking into a home decor magazine. Every room has been given love and attention. I work at this location regularly and it's a pleasure to come over to Megan's place every time. I have known Megan's for several years now and I know how much pride and love goes into designing and maintaining this space. Other than the home being beautiful, the best part is working with Megan. She is generous, funny, and very caring. An absolute joy to be around.

Absolutely love Barefoot and Salty! Every piece within this home is so intentional. There’s something about being in a creative and beautiful space that feels so nourishing and good for the nervous system. I stayed here for a weekend — I taught a yoga practice for 7 people, created video content for a project and rested up with my partner after a busy week. The bathroom is a dream, and I literally had the best bath of my life. There are so many rooms to explore, a zen garden out the front and big grass area out the back, as well as 2 big tables if you were to host a group of people. There are so many different pockets in the house to capture photos too— with big ceramic pots, textiles and vintage wooden furniture pieces. Megan and Jimmie made my experience feel so easeful. I cannot wait to be back there!!
