I was not able to find Michael's stand at the market when I was there from interstate a couple of weeks ago. I was fortunate enough to get him to post them to me in regional South Australia. The photographs are absolutely stunning. I can highly recommend his photography. Thanks again 🤩🤩🤩

妻と一緒にオーストラリア、タスマニアに旅行した時のこと。旅の目的は、野生のウォンバットに出会うこと。ところが、その前に、ホバート市のサラマンカマーケットで、マイケル撮影のウォンバットの写真に出会ってしまいました。雪の中で、可愛らしい瞳でこちらを見ている彼(彼女？)を見て、購入を即決しました。これまでウォンバットの写真は多く見てきましたが、この一枚には「参りました」でした。主役である彼の愛くるしさと背景が雪景色であることとは特筆もので、マイケルが雪の中で何時間待っていたのか分かりませんが、それをベストのタイミングでシャッターを切ったマイケルに感謝です。なお、その後、マライア島で念願の野生の彼らに会えましたが、あの雪中の彼ほどのキュートなウォンバットには会えませんでした。
