I hired John for a post wedding photo shoot and he is did a great job! He is very professional, very flexible and highly strategic in his photography skills. It is evident that he is highly experienced and he also has very fair pricing. I highly recommend John for any photographer that event.

Had John for our baby girl's baptism. Lovely guy, showed up on time, knew what was talking about and took photos in areas I didn't think to take. Very easy to talk to and respectful. Just gotta have patience with him as he's pretty thorough with what he wants as a shot, not to be rushed. Outcome is worth it 👌

John did a family photo shoot for me that was amazing. He was very personable and one of the most reasonably priced photographers around. He is well worth your time. His photos are also on par with people way more expensive.

i wrote a huge post labelling the reasons why i don't recommend john but now its vanished and i can't find it. basically communication was good before wedding then went down hill. numerous times family members asked for family photos they didn't happen we have no family photos on our wedding at all not one!! i asked for photos of my daughter and i and they are blurry i can't use them, she has no photos with her dad at all which breaks his heart. it rained but we had no photos outside when rain stops of the wonderful sunset. i had to pay more money for hours he said he did but i don't know how long he was there for as didn't see him leave. bridal party have limited if no photos at all and again that's because they kept asking for photos. you only get married once and I've got barely any photos of my day im heart broken over this. not many photos of speeches and ceremony I've got more photos of the guests then my husband myself and daughter which i don't understand at all.. i feel i paid extra for more hours john worked but really i deserve a refund for what i was delivered. i feel I've been cold shouldered by john, poor communication and treated like i am the bad person in this situation..

John Lim photographed our wedding in Jan 2020. Photos supplied in a timely manner, but the good news ends here. Photos supplied were very bad quality - faces blurred past recognition, more photos of people milling and restaraunt staff were supplied than photos of bridal party and family, of the 25 requested family photos, less than half were supplied, I have no photos with my immediate family, or with my mother in them, and no photos of my bridal party between the wedding and the reception. We are incredibly heartbroken and disappointed with the quality of work, and his only response was to claim it was not his fault his camera was playing up on the day, and the photos he took didn't work out. He did not bring this to anyone's attention on the day, so we could take other pictures, he refuses to apologise for the hurt he has caused, refuses to agree a refund is justified and keeps claiming that because he supplied more pictures than he had to, that we should be grateful and happy. Nevermind that hardly any of them are useable and most the requested ones are missing. Do NOT take a chance on this photographer if your wedding photos are a big deal for you. He says all the right things, but does not deliver and does not acknowledge when he has made an error. Would give zero stars if I was allowed to.

Used the services of John Lim Photography many years ago for our wedding, He was decades ahead of everyone else. his skills using the camera and photoshop where unmatched. Great work john
