Born in November Photography

We cannot thank Nora enough for her kindness, patience and empathy when she photographed our family. Not only was her communication before the session reassuring, but she kept us updated with tips for making the most of our day, how to choose our outfits etc, which was incredible helpful. Nora really listened to our story and was so flexible with her time. The day before she was still giving us multiple options to make the most of our little one’s routines. On the day, our one year old was very unsettled and out of character. It was stressful for us as parents, not only hoping that she’d settle down for our photography session, but also seeing her upset and agitated. Nora was calm, professional, and so warm. She instantly pivoted to taking candid shots to make the most of each moment, and even though our time with her was nothing like I envisioned, we still walked away with the most beautiful photos and more importantly, special memories. I cannot recommend Born In November photography enough. Nora is so generous, both as a photographer and as a fellow mum. She over-delivered in every way.

11/10 recommend! Nora was amazing in all aspects of the photoshoot, before and after. She was communicative in the lead up to our photo session and provided so many helpful tips - helping us with what we should wear, whether there were toilets at the location, reminding us to bring spare clothes. She not only takes stunning photos but she is a mother herself and knows all the things to think ahead of which was so helpful to us. She was amazing with our kids - our eldest is usually shy with new people but warmed up so quickly to Nora that she even asked Nora to come to dinner after the photo shoot! Nora’s photos captured our family so perfectly - the sweet side but also the chaos! We love them so much. They are not just posed family photos, they tell a story and remind us of all the moments we shared during the shoot - the good and the bad (when the kids had had enough!) but Nora captured all of it so perfectly. The photos are beautiful and we received so many compliments for them too when showing friends and family. Thank you so much Nora!!!

Nora is the most talented and amazing photographer! She made our family feel so at ease in front of the camera and guided us so well. She captured so many beautiful images of our family that we will forever cherish. I highly recommend her!

We chose Born in November for our newborn photo shoot as we wanted candid, natural photos at home. Nora was absolutely fantastic and so patient. It was also the only photographer we found that didn’t have hidden costs or false advertising to get you in. The base package gave you way more photos than anywhere else we looked. We are so stoked with the results and the communication with Nora was very impressive. She was also very generous with her time and didn’t rush anything. We will definitely use her again in the future!

Nora at Born in November is an incredible photographer! She has a phenomenal ability to capture precious moments, even in chaotic situations. Despite a windy, cold day and uncooperative toddlers, she delivered fantastic photos that we will cherish. It was our first extended family photoshoot and she made sure everyone was comfortable, even the introverts. Nora was also very accommodating to our questions and changes throughout the process. We mentioned it was a birthday gift for our mum, and she was so thoughtful—she provided a sneak preview within 24 hours, just in time for my mum to enjoy on her birthday. The whole experience was easy and enjoyable, thanks to her personable approach. Highly recommend!
