Really nice, compared with the population in Armidale, just awesome to be able to have a good quality of art stuff

Fantastic art shop and framer. Stuart and Ann are generous with their knowledge and really go the extra mile to help you out if you have questions about framing or what art supplies to use for a particular thing. They've helped me with all sorts of questions about mediums, papers and the best way to frame my work. Feel so lucky to have this resource in Armidale. Sometimes you just have to shop in person and be able to talk through what you need in a way you can't with online supply stores. Plus if you are a member of NERAM Friends/Culture Club you get a discount.

Helpful if a little standoffish (perhaps I look unfriendly). Overpriced to comparable shops in Australia and online but a bit of a monopoly in Armidale. A good range of art supplies and a nice little gallery. They also do framing.

No quality customer service what so ever, this is an area of improvement for them. They were very rude in their attempt at what they thought was 'assisting' their potential customers, instead barked at me to sanitise. By all means I respect this during covid, however the woman was extremely and unnecessarily demeaning towards me. Along with no smile or greeting as we entered. I was discouraged from purchasing my art supplies from such a negative atmosphere. Do not recommend.

Its mixed coming here. If you are after something expensive or seem to know high end things they will help you out. If you come here asking for advice or are unsure they will act snobby. Its mixed service here depending on if they like you which is a shame as they sell some good product here that I can't find anywhere else in Armidale. They do need to work on their people skills

I’ve purchased art supplies and had all my framing done at Gallery 126 for over 14 years. Stuart and Anne have always worked with me to help me find what I needed . They let me browse without being pushy which I like. The many pieces I have had framed over the years still look great - mats haven’t faded and frames haven’t warped. Stuart always gives an exact quote . When I’ve had unusual framing requests Stuart has been happy to listen and do his best to accomodate. When i wanted inspiration in my artists tool kit I would browse and always find something.

Well stocked art supply store. Make sure you know what you’re looking for though as the service is non existent 😔
