Prepare for a rollercoaster of disappointment at Ya ya breads and cakes. From the moment I stepped in, it was clear that the staff lacked even the most basic understanding of customer service. When I dared to inquire about vegetarian options, I was met with blank stares and ignorance. Opting for a salad roll seemed like a safe bet, but what arrived was a sad excuse for food. The bread resembled something excavated from an archaeological dig—stale, tough, and practically inedible. Hoping for redemption, I returned to confront the staff about the culinary catastrophe. Instead of an apology, I received a verbal assault. The employee's behavior was beyond reproach, bordering on the surreal. Were they high on something, or simply intoxicated by their own incompetence? Attempting to reason with this individual was akin to conversing with a brick wall. My attempts to communicate the issue were met with hostility and absurdity. Apparently, distinguishing between a salad roll and a sub was a feat beyond their mental capacity.

Lovely staff very friendly. Their curry pie is one of the best in Sydney. I bought 2 today fantastic lots of filling good pastry really good curry flavor nice and hot but not too hot. I go there every Saturday You will not be disappointed. Also nice cakes.

One of the more disappointing banh mis I've had. Chicken was dry and gristly in parts, chili not evenly distributed, and seemed to skimp on the salad. At least the bread was fresh.

I ordered over DoorDash when my Uber driver got there he said that there was no order under my name! He asked me to call the lady, So I did and once I did she was so rude swearing at me for asking why I don’t have a order with them as I’m looking at my order I’ve made. saying that her business isn’t on doordash. But it clearly is !!!!! I suggest no one eats there at all.

From 7News: Yaya Bakers in Yagoona was fined a total of $1320 on February 12 after previous warnings, for failing to ensure handwashing facilities are only used for the washing of hands, arms and face, breaching cleanliness standards, and failing to make necessary repairs.
