First time getting it, not disappointed. Got the salt bread, jalepeno salt bread and cinnamon scroll. It’s a little bit expensive $7.50 for original salt bread, $8.50 for jalepeno but I guess it’s 2026.

Even if the saltbread is not available, their other baked goods are excellent. The pizzas are generous on toppings with a soft fluffy dough. The pecan and chocolate cookie is perfect - not overly sweet, not too crumbly and a subtle bite. The egg tart is flaky, not too sweet and you won’t want to share it! The croissant is buttery with a fine crisp shell and soft inside. After a couple of visits, we finally caught some of the saltbread still available for sale. OG was sold out by midday Saturday but tried the garlic and baby tiger. Both technically well executed, the garlic one incredibly aromatic too, but I would seriously consider their other items over these ie not be too disappointed if saltbread is not available. Service is kind but brisk, drinks also available but no seating.

I really wanted to love the salt bread at Sofe because when it’s good, it’s really good. I actually went three days in a row this week because I suspected there might be some inconsistency, and unfortunately I think that’s the case. On Tuesday around noon, the salt bread was amazing. Buttery, light, crispy on the bottom, and fresh all around. Easily one of the better ones I’ve had. On Wednesday afternoon, it wasn’t quite the same. It felt less buttery and not as light or airy. They were closed Thursday, so I went back Friday around noon and it definitely did not taste fresh even after heating. In fact, it was quite dry overall. The top lacked crispness, the inside was less buttery, and the bottom didn’t have that signature crispy texture anymore. I suspect there may be some training or process inconsistencies happening at the moment. The product clearly has a lot of potential, but the inconsistency could become a bit of a turn off for repeat customers. Hopefully the team can look into the process because when the salt bread is done right, it’s genuinely excellent.

Amazing salt bread and crossiants! Egg tarts are insanely good too - super flaky pastry and just the right amount of sweetness. Matcha is also pretty decent, and is individually hand whisked which is great ☺️

Great bakery! tried the cinnamon roll, a matcha pastry, egg tart, and a cold brew. Everything was honestly really tasty. The pastries were fresh and well balanced, and the coffee was solid too. You can tell there’s a lot of care put into what they make. Definitely keen to come back and try more.
