Best scrambled eggs I’ve had! They came with that wok hei aroma, truly sedap! But at AUD 20, it’s extremely pricey. The café also serves pastries and cakes alongside cooked food. The chocolate croissant was flaky and delicious, but the coffee (latte and flat white) was just average. I didn’t ask about extra charges for card payments, but since most cafés here add a surcharge, I decided to pay with cash instead.

We ordered the okonomiyaki and the croissant. The croissant was decent, but unfortunately the okonomiyaki was badly burnt (as shown in the photo). It had a bitter taste and was not enjoyable to eat. We politely gave feedback to the staff, but the response was disappointing — she simply said she would inform the chef, without offering to replace the dish or address the issue further. In the end, we still paid the bill, but sadly we won’t be returning.

Was there this weekend . Ordered chilli scrambled eggs with main item stated as being Blue Swimmer Crab . No crab visible nor could taste . Believe I just got good old scrambled eggs . Charged $5 extra for speck , I was lucky if I got 1/2 a rasher . Coffee took ages , just drinkable when received it. Cafe was not busy . Also charged a surcharge on Sat. I understand PH or Sunday . Did not see that written on the menu but I may have missed it . Overall $45 for basic scrambled eggs and a coffee that i could have made at home . Very disappointed. Was there few years ago and it was great ! Not sure if same owners or management. 😒

Disappointing experience dining for brunch this weekend. Ordered the laksa-inspired corn fritters. Fritters were stodgy, dense and unappetising. It came with a "mango salsa" which lacked any freshness and tasted boiled. Poached eggs were good, and laksa sauce was fine. Overall dish was mostly inedible... I could only eat the eggs and the mango. Iced coffee was effectively a bland icey frappe, though their iced tea was refreshing and not too sweet. I was alarmed to be charged $100 for brunch for 2 people. After I paid and was given a receipt, I saw they had charged a 20% "Saturday surcharge". This was perhaps an error by the staff member at the till and meant to be 2%. HOWEVER the bigger issue is there is no mention of Saturday surcharges anywhere on the menu nor the premises. I appreciate that when I raised my concern for being charged a $20 surcharge the staff were polite, apologetic and gave me $20 back. Unfortunately I won't be returning.

Haven eaten at sweet brew a few times over the years. Haven't been for a year or so until visiting last week. Whether they have lost staff or new owners the food remains great however service was slow. Order taken by woman were quick, however delivery from another staff member for drinks was probably a 30 minute wait, which still had us waiting on drink which we could see sitting on the counter as the fella tried to work out where it went. Attempted to wave him down and eventually I asked staff if it was my order. Food was another 20 minutes- which was tasty. Then payment was another issue were they had charged for another table inclusive of our which also took another good 10 minutes to explain and work out. Overall food is good. Service is a let down. Mind you it was a Saturday however not by any means more busy then it would be usually. Service needs to be elevated - whether its speed or communication if there is a delay.

Been to Sweet brew many times over the years, live in Stuart Park. Food is usually really good, but this morning went up to grab 4 croissants and was totally blanked by the staff. Waited 5 or so minutes and then walked out. Lift your game guys. If you are going to charge extra for weekends and ph, at least employ more people and get some interested staff. Would give 0 stars if there was that option.

Located in a very cool, industrial-style space, this business has a very unique and 'edgy' character. The layout is very open and allows you to appreciate the creative design of the building while you relax. The staff are very passionate about their craft and provide a very high level of professional service. It is an inspiring destination for anyone who loves a modern, warehouse-style atmosphere.
