i Bake Rockdale

The lady owner is always friendly. Might need to wait a bit since she’s running the shop on her own, which is fair enough. The roll is always stuffed and yummy, and the bread is soft and moist. Pretty decent bakery spot right opposite Rockdale Station. Gotta support local businesses.

Really disappointed with this cake shop. I’ve been a loyal customer, so this experience was especially upsetting. I bought 2 slice of chocolate cake yesterday, and after eating it, I realized it was moldy. I was shocked because I had already finished the whole slice. When I went back to complain, the staff seemed too busy and didn’t apologize at first. She said the cake was old and not kept in the fridge, and told me I should have bought the one from the fridge instead. The problem is, I couldn’t even find a slice of chocolate cake in the fridge. I don’t mind paying more, but I should have been told from the beginning that the cake was old. Overall, very disappointing experience and poor handling of a serious issue.

Came here during work break to try out their banh mi. Got the cheapest pork banh mi they offered and oh my days that thing was stuffed so generously to the brim with fillings. The meat, veggies and flavour hit the spot and it was ONLY $8??? The only downside was the bread wasnt as fresh as i hoped it would be but hey its $8 I have nothing to complain about. It was so good I decided to buy one of their apple pies as a post meal dessert and oh gosh it hit the spot even harder. They have a huge variety of desserts to pick from as well and you defo will find something that youll love. Overall only spent $12?! For such a filling meal??? Extremely happy, always love a good bakery that does both banh mi and desserts.

My partner always goes here for bread rolls and treats when he is in the area, they are delicious! Meat pies too, fresh, hot and decently priced.

Meat pies amazing taste and value. No right to taste better than those countryside "gourmet" $12 pies, but they do.

I can keep writing but in short, its been 3 plus months I started visiting here since I moved local and since the day 1 I liked the brew,staff and speed they offer which enabled me to catch the train timely. Next to the Bus Stop. Always seems busy making fresh produce. Barista before was very good young friend male, open conversation, and the recent one too is really gentle and humble- I see the choices owner makes on his staff character. Owner himself is such a Good Man/Chef. He has always smiled and behaved friendly, no matter how bad my wakings were, I was able to reset myself here while leaving for work/colleage/adventure.🫡 Thumbs Up.👍🏻Brew, Service, Speed, Communication. Breads plenty of Choices and Cakes too, recommend to support local anyone around.🤘🏻👌🏻

I had a steak pie and flat white. Need to return for the bread and cakes of which there is a huge variety. I enjoyed my pie and coffee a lot.
