MR BAKE

MR Bake has done it again, their new Chunky Beef, Cheese & Vegemite Pie (released today) is hands down the best pie they’ve put out so far. From the first bite, you can tell this one means business: flaky, buttery pastry and a filling that’s properly loaded. We’re talking large chunks of tender beef that pull apart easily, sitting in a rich, glossy gravy with melted cheese running through it. And then there’s the hero move, the Vegemite. It doesn’t overpower, it adds that salty, umami punch that deepens the beef flavour and makes the cheese hit even harder. It’s bold, savoury, and honestly a winning combo. I didn’t think anything would beat my personal favourite (the jalapeño beef cheese pie)… but this one surpasses it. If you’re a pie lover, this is a must-try. Rating: 10/10 MR Bake — you’ve officially outdone yourselves.

I used to frequently stop at this bakery before it changed owners recently and I've finally made it back in to try the new owners baked goods. I had a plain beef pie and it was delicious, piping hot and the pastry was perfect. Highly recommend their pues, I'll definitely be back to try more of their food.

I purchased a sausage roll for the first time. It was so dry due to the amount of bread filler in it, it was like eating hot bread crumbs. It had no onion, no herbs etc. I couldn’t see or taste anything that even resembled sausage meat. It was tasteless & disgusting and certainly not worth the $5. I ended up giving it to my dog.

MR Bake did not disappoint! Ordered a range of sweet and savoury treats for our office morning tea. We were able to customise exactly what we wanted and everything come under budget. Everyone was raving about how yummy the food was. Thanks again MR Bake 😊

This place is so good it should get a Michelin star. I’ve gone here four times and every time it has impressed me more and more this place should be a 500 star bakery. Atmosphere is lovely the staff is so nice and the food is mouth dropping and worthy. P. S the Beef curry pie is very very good and I rate 100/10 stars

Stopped in here randomly on my way through, best choice I've ever made. I had the chunky steak and peppercorn pie. Confident in saying this was one of the best pies I've ever had. Held together perfectly, delicious flaky pastry, the gravy was smooth and full of flavour; not gelatinous or anything. And the chunks of steak were huge and tender. Will DEFINITELY be back.

Accidentally came across Mr bake today, they had such a friendly service team and the be at food! I only got a donut but the donut was so fluffy and tasty.
