Mountview Bakehouse

I've decided to edit this review as there are new staff and some changes in the quality of food. We noticed recently that the apple turnovers now don't have fresh cream, and they no longer have the wagon wheels. We've noticed the food isn't as fresh as it used to be. The staff are nice, however, not as friendly as they used to be. still a nice bakery but not as good as it used to be. I've left my old comment up as I believe at the time is was well deserved. We started coming here about 6 weeks ago. We have never had any problems with either the food or the service. The pies and sausage rolls are amazing. Try the wagon wheels! You won't be disappointed. Shout out the Bek and K, who helped us out with all our questions about birthday cakes. We have always had such wonderful friendly service here and honestly we highly recommend this awesome bakery

I asked for my vanilla slice to be placed in a small box because the paperbags normally make a mess of it, the server sneakily charged me for the small box and put it under "60c plastic bag". I wouldn't of mind if she at least told me. Felt dishonest and shifty. Other servers there have never charged me for the box that should be free.. it holds one small item.

I just had a chicken and salad sandwich from Mountview Bakehouse in Redbank Plains, and it was absolutely delicious! 🏆 Fresh ingredients, great taste, and hit the spot perfectly. Highly recommend giving it a try if you're in the area! 😋✨

I Got a sausage roll yesterday, the pastry was under cooked and doughy, big chunks of onion, not a very nice tasting filling. Below average really, wouldn't recommend.

Ordered a very last minute birthday cake with a few specific details which was easily accommodated and very affordable. Everyone commented on how yummy it tasted 🙂 thank you!

Absolutely great rolls but not when meat is dry. And broken rolls that make it very hard to eat. Not work $7 if fallen apart when eaten!! What a joke. Packed too full.

Going on a friend's advice, I decided to try the curry pies out here, and all I can say is wow, they are fantastic. I have never come across a bakery that could almost make the exact same style my grandmother used to make. Gravy was spot on. Not to runny not to thick. Mince had wonderful flavour and the filling was to the crust. The amount of spice used is absolutely perfect. I highly recommend this business, this one of the best pies I have had in a very long time. Prices are very reasonable considering everything at the moment.
