Don't be fooled by my rating - there's nothing wrong at this bakery, it was just your average bakery. I popped in around 10am and it was quiet, was served instantly for a plain croissant. It wasn't warmed but it was still decent - more bready, than pastry.
I come here when I want the best croissant in Mosman. Flaky on the outside, moist on the inside, delicious! The quiche also very yummy. Most importantly, the coffee is top notch. Good spot for people watching too.
The service from the mature woman who works at The Little French Patisserie Mosman has been consistently poor for years - rude, even. Today, we visited the same coffee shop in Bridgepoint Shopping Centre and had the same experience again. The person taking my order didn’t even pause what she was doing or make eye contact. Just poor customer service and rude. It’s a shame because their pies are genuinely great, and that’s what keeps people coming back - but not forever. Customer service matters!!

Their Lemon Meringue cake is divine - just the right balance of tartness with foamy meringue on top. That being said, today I had the worst iced-chocolate of my life. It tasted like Milo mixed with water. I think the person who made it might have needed some additional training. Making a hot chocolate and then trying to recreate the Heinrich Event is no basis for a good beverage. Also, their cheese sticks are pretty good but perhaps not worth the $5.50 price point even with inflation accounted for.
Not French. Don't even have croissants. It's a pie shop.
