Sunflower Bakery & Takeaway

Amazing food. Love the fresh bread even though it's about 4.50$. Love the freshly made burgers too. They have fish and chips too. Haven't tried it yet. My next favourite is caramel, peanut pieces.

I had a very disappointing experience today when I arrived to purchase my usual loaf of bread and 1 single cheese and bacon roll like I do every 3 days, the new lady at the register asked the old woman with short grey hair how much the roll was, she stated $2. I then stated Chloe who usually is working at this time always charges me 80 cents. The old lady then said no it’s $2 on the register and would not listen to me. She then asked Chloe how much she usually charges to which she replied $1. I was still charged $2. I have bank transfers to prove they usually cost 80 cents so it’s very strange the old lady felt the need to push back and in front of customers too, very disrespectful. Another thing is they seem to have hired a bunch of new staff who are young and DO NOT use gloves to pick items up. They grab the roll with bare hands like they don’t carry germs. Disgusting. Would have much rather the older lady say we will do the 80 cents and confront Chloe later about her charging rates instead of belittling me in front of customers and making me feel like I’m in the wrong. Not very good service at all.

Best Chicken Satay pie ever...Vera should get an award for 'Best Customer Service' beautiful lady..I'll be in tomorrow from Imbil hope ya got those Satay questions well stocked

Only thing good is hot chips. Which isn't hard. Very very basic menu. Got crumbed Sausages for my young daughters. Was like biting into a rock. Will not return.

Last of the true old skool bakery's left they make quailty products with that old skool flavour not the preservative filled crap you can buy at the major supermarkets Hoping the locals keep up the support with the majors opening up down the road soon We can watch these wonderful guys close down it would be so sad We keep loosing parts of the history of our town

I can't speak highly enough of Sunflower Bakery and Takeaway. Been going there for years and the food is fantastic and the service second to none. They know my order and bring it out to me when ready. A pleasure to go there every week.
