Mooroolbark Bakehouse

I cannot recommend Mooroolbark Bakehouse enough! They made my 30th birthday carrot cake and it was absolutely perfect — incredibly moist, fresh, and generously filled with extra cream cheese frosting, just how I love it. We had called around to so many bakeries and everyone required at least a week’s notice, but Linda went above and beyond and made the cake for us the night before. Not only was she so accommodating, but the cake tasted like it had been made with so much care and love. It was a huge hit with everyone at the party, and so many people commented on how delicious it was. Amazing service, beautiful cake, and fantastic quality — I’ll definitely be ordering again. Absolutely delicious custard croissant, brownie and lemon tart! The service was so friendly and the coffee was great too. Perfect spot for a weekend sweet treat and will definitely be back to try the French baguette. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

The staff were really lovely! All the deserts do look good, but we tried the banh mi pork roll. They were average, they were a bit expensive and honestly tasted like custard. The pork was cold, dry and flavourless. The veg and herbs tasted fresh but it was all over powered by an odd sweet flavour. Definitely not a traditional banh mi.... I'm interested to try their other food because the shop does look nice and the staff were generally great to talk to.

The best of all sweet treats -- with lots of mini tarts, canolli, pies and pastries. Perfect with a cuppa or as a bite after lunch. Old fashioned neighbourhood service where Linda and Jasmine will remember your name, recognise your family, and watch out for you all! Cash is welcomed and a chat when quiet. A favourite place for all three generations of our family. 🥰

Sad to say but I just got a wrap from here and it was revolting. The chicken tasted over a week old, I couldn’t even bite into it as it was so rough. It was actually expensive as I got quite a few things, to get something uneatable is frustrating.

Some of the best friendliest service today on day one the people who have opened up here have been working hard for weeks to get setup. The prices are super affordable the food tastes great and the coffee is great too best of luck with your new business in Mooroolbark !!! We will be back

Very friendly staff, delicious Banh Mi nice crunchy Baguette. Will definitely be coming back :). I should have paid more attention to the menus. Vietnamese Iced Coffee with the Banh Mi next time.
