Frollicking Frog Bakery Cafe

This place is amazing! I can't believe I've lived here for five years and only found it in December 😭 but that's okay, I'll make up for lost time in no time!!!! Their pies are unlike any other and their Danish pastries are 100% the best I've ever had. So delicious. If they sold genuine rum balls, I could have easily mistaken this for the gorgeous little cake shop

Fortunately, I was there yesterday because of waiting my bus to go an interview. They save me from starving with the stunning, gorgeous and unreal beef mushroom pie. And the staff are so kind as well. Ps. I brought another beef cheez bacon home for dinner as well.

We never pass up an opportunity to go to the Frollicking Frog Bakery and Cafe. The selection of pies and quiches is excellent but the quality of the vegetarian pasties is unmatched. Coffees are great and the warm quality of service is as you would expect from a semi-rural are adjacent to the Yarra Valley.

Chilli pie bland and under seasoned. No chilli flavour. Custard tart tasted like scrambled egg. No sweetness. Really disappointing as both looked great.

Stumbled across this place after a day at Lilydale Lake. The food was delicious. I had the meat pastie and my husband had a beef pie. We'll be back!
