Bought a cake from here for my sisters birthday. Ordered in honey melon flavour and picked up the next day. Cake is so cute and was perfect, cream filling was very yummy. Thank you so much !!

I bought a cake from Bakery King Cake Shop (near Hurstville Station, across from Mr. Stonepot) at 4:30 PM on the 19th. I asked twice if it was freshly made, and the staff said yes. But when I cut it open that night, the bottom was covered in mold. I went back at 10 AM the next day. The owner saw the cake, apologized, and gave me a refund. He said their fridge might have had issues a few days ago—which means the cake was not fresh. It was a birthday, and your cake completely ruined it. I regret not keeping the receipt, or I would have reported this. Selling moldy cakes is dishonest. I hope no one else has to go through this.

I bought a Tiramisu Cake from this shop for my wife's birthday, Taste of the cake was horrible, extremely dry. Tased extremely stale. I have never had such worst cake in my life. This bakery ruined our special day. I wanted to try new bakery and choose this bakery for the first time and was a bad decision. I should have gone to my usual bakery. Not recommended, not a bit. The Tiramisu from Aldi is way better than this shop.

I purchased a tiramisu cake from this shop, and while it looked fine on the shelf, things took a turn when I got home. After removing the plastic cover, I noticed the cake was covered in mold. I immediately called the shop to request a refund, but they insisted I bring the cake back. When I arrived with the cake, the staff informed me they couldn’t refund my money. Instead, they offered to let me exchange it for something of the same value. With no other option, I chose a taro cake. Thankfully, it wasn’t moldy, but the taste was disappointing. Overall, this was a really frustrating experience, and I won’t be returning. I bought this on January but forgot to post about it.

This is my favourite Chinese bakery in Hurstville, serving up some very cheap fusion pastries and breads e.g. pineapple buns, danish stick, puff pastry with lotus paste and fermented egg. They also have some great deals on egg tarts when you buy in bulk. Note: I used to like the Danish Stick here, but the recipe has changed recently and the texture is not right anymore.

Bought two taro filled bread and the filling tasted sour. I was scared to taste the other breads. No I don't recommend to buy in this store. It's cheap and affordable but the quality is not for consumption.

Bought what was meant to a melon sponge cake, however the melon was off and had a terrible smell. Additionally, there was barely any sponge layers within the cake. Price wise it's a really cheap store. The cakes were only $20 so I suppose you get what you pay for.
