Highton Bakery

📍 Wedding bakeries in Highton

3.7

Address, nestled in the charming Highton area, offers a delightful array of baked goods and savory pies. The friendly service and reasonably priced items make it a welcoming spot for locals and visitors alike. Their vanilla slice is a standout, praised for its soft, non-rubbery custard, and their custard tarts are notably flavorful, though the structural integrity could use some improvement. The selection of breads and muffins is also commendable.

While most offerings are well-received, some pies, particularly the steak, bacon, and cheese variety, have been criticized for inconsistent quality. Despite this, the overall experience at Address is pleasant, with a cozy atmosphere and a good variety of treats to choose from. The affordable prices and helpful staff ensure a satisfying visit.

I love this place and these foods so much. It makes me giggle on the inside so much when I order -usually a curry pie or three party pies- and they say, "Sauce with that?" and I reply, "No, they're too good for sauce!" but honestly... they are.

Friendly service but the mushroom pie was pretty bad. Dry pastry and quite small for the price.

Best Vanilla slice in geelong. Custard lovely and soft not rubbery like most vanilla slices. Yum

Had a nice feed of sushi down the road and thought I’d pop in for a tart. Initially shocked at the $5.50 price point for an average size custard tart, I thought I was in for a shocker. Let me start off by saying the jiggle on this tart was outstanding. It felt like the tart was alive in and outside of my mouth. By far the jiggliest tart I’ve ever tarted. Structural integrity wasn’t great and left me unable to eat on the go. But the real kicker was the flavour of the custard it was amazing. All and all fantastic tart, 7.5/10. Would tart again but would recommend dropping the price to an honest $4.50 Thank you

A great and friendly little shop tucked just a few steps off the main road in the heart of the Highton shopping central area. Good selection of breads, muffins, and other items. Super friendly staff. Fresh and reasonably priced!!

Steak, bacon & cheese pie was terrible. All onion pieces are on top of the meat & no cheese. Took it back in, and stuff said it was that pie. Pie was thrown in the bin as all I wanted was a good steak, bacon & cheese pie & not a steak & onion pie & walked out empty handed & out of cash.

Great fresh ham salad rolls and sandwiches. Happily made up a special cheese roll for my toddler. Bread is basic but good and fresh. You’re not getting your gourmet sourdough here, but they’re good at what they do!
