Parisian Baker, Essendon – A Little Slice of Paris in the Northwest This charming patisserie delivers on both flavour and atmosphere. The pastries are consistently beautiful—flaky, rich, and clearly made with care. Whether you’re after a classic croissant or one of their more decadent scrolls, you’ll be spoilt for choice. The coffee is excellent. I didn’t need to add sugar, which says a lot. The mocha, in particular, has earned high praise—possibly the best in Melbourne, according to someone whose opinion I trust. There’s more seating than you might expect, with extra space out the back and upstairs. Just note that the toilets are located upstairs, which may be tricky for those with mobility concerns.

Situated close to the airport. Great place to get a sweet treats before or after your flight. Enjoyed the banana caramel swirl! Store has a very cute vibe and has a place upstairs to unwind or focus on whatever you’re working on.

Cute little Parisian bakery. Everything I’ve tried here has been delicious – sweet and savoury – but the cinnamon scrolls are next level. And trust me, I’ve tried plenty.

My wife and I regularly stop in for a weekend breakfast and have never been disappointed! The croque monsieurs are consistently great, the tea is loose leaf, and there's a wide variery of delicious pastries (and quiches) to choose from (we used to pick two and have half of each but, since they added their cinnamon scroll, Lee's gone all in and left me to my own breakfast dessert). There's larger tables both in the back and upstairs if you need extra room for everything. The staff are friendly and their service is great. Please drop in if you're in the area; just try to leave two croques for us. <3

A cute venue with yummy looking products but I must say I was disappointed with my chocolate croissant. All croissant, minimal chocolate. The photo says it all. Come on folks, you can do better than that!

A lovely little spot with a quiet and cozy atmosphere. The quiche was excellent—the pastry was perfectly crisp and flaky. The almond croissant was good, and the donut had just the right level of sweetness. A great place for a relaxed pastry break!
